    • PURPOSE:To make it possible for a beginer to operate an electric vehicle as smoothly as a skilled driver by a constitution wherein a microcomputor estimates the traveling environment based on the operating conditions of a steering wheel or accelerator to set an optimal speed, acceleration/deceleration and torque automatically. CONSTITUTION:Upon turning a key switch 8 ON, power is fed from a battery 1 through a constant voltage circuit 9 to a microcomputcor 11 which begins processing according to programs stored in a ROM 10. Accelerator stepping amount 12, steering wheel operating force 13, steering wheel operating angle 14, drive/reverse decision signal 15, vehicle speed 16 and loading operation signal 17 are fed to the microcomputor 11 every preset time in order to operate an accelerator stepping speed and steering wheel operating angular speed. The microcomputor 11 sets a rotational speed, an acceleration and a torque based on the inputted conditions and turns a chopper transistor 5 ON/OFF through an output circuit 26. The operation is repeated at a predetermined time interval. According to the invention, even a beginer can travel on a road having different- widths or curves as optimally as a skilled driver.

    • PURPOSE:To reset a protective circuit when any malfunction is occurred without being noticed by an operator, by a method wherein an accelerator reset circuit, putting a thyristor OFF for a short period of time when an accelerator is returned and resetting the protective circuit, is provided in the title controller. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator 12 is treaded, an accelerator switch 121 is put OFF and a voltage is impressed on the converting input terminal of an operating amplifier 131 in an accelerator reset circuit 13. As a result, the output of the operating amplifier 131 becomes low level and the electric charge of a capacitor 139 is discharged through a diode 137 and a resistor 138, however, a transistor 132 is being put OFF. When the accelerator 12 is returned, the accelerator switch 121 is put ON and the voltage of the converting input terminal of the operating amplifier 131 is reduced due to a current, conducted through a diode 133 and a resistor 134, whereby the output of the same terminal becomes high level. Then, charging current for the capacitor 139 is conducted through the resistors 138, 140 and the transistor 132 whereby the transistor 132 is put ON and a protective circuit may be reset in the same manner as a case upon putting the thyristor 27 for preventing runaway ON.

    • PURPOSE:To further enhance the compact and lightweightedness as well as the workability of control device, etc., using the title semiconductor module by a method wherein a transistor module and a diode module are integrated with each other to be provided with a fixing leg. CONSTITUTION:The title semiconductor module is to be a mixed module composed of a transistor module and a diode module integrated with each other to be provided with a fixing leg. Next, a printed substrate 4 is fitted to a substrate mounting base 3 through the intermediary of a spacer 5 further to be connected to the fixing leg of the mixed module 1. At this time, both of a substrate cover 6 and one side of said base 3 are fixed to the fixing leg of a mixed module 1 by fixing screws 7 while said base 3 can be opened and closed by a hinge mechanism 8 simply by unscrewing the fixing screws 7 leaving the substrate 6 intact if necessary. Through these procedures, a control device using the title semiconductor module can be made compact and lightweighted as well as making respective works such as rapid fitting, replacing steps, etc., feasible.
