摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent slip of drive wheel upon braking of vehicle and to shorten brake distance by setting the current command value low when an advancing command is produced and electrical braking is carried out during backward powering operation. CONSTITUTION:When a reverse switch 16 is opened and a drive switch 15 is closed under reversely rotating condition of a motor 2, a drive contactor 4 is opened as shown by an arrow 4a and a drive contactor 3 closes as shown by an arrow 3a. When a chopper is operated under this condition, current flows through a field coil 20 in reverse direction from the rotary direction of the motor 2. Since voltage induced in the motor 2 is shortcircuited through a plugging diode 7, a large current flows through the motor 2 even if the duty of a transistor 6 is low. Electrical brake condition is judged based on the duty, and the current flowing through the motor 2 can be lowered by setting the current command low upon closure of the drive switch 15.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible for a beginer to operate an electric vehicle as smoothly as a skilled driver by a constitution wherein a microcomputor estimates the traveling environment based on the operating conditions of a steering wheel or accelerator to set an optimal speed, acceleration/deceleration and torque automatically. CONSTITUTION:Upon turning a key switch 8 ON, power is fed from a battery 1 through a constant voltage circuit 9 to a microcomputcor 11 which begins processing according to programs stored in a ROM 10. Accelerator stepping amount 12, steering wheel operating force 13, steering wheel operating angle 14, drive/reverse decision signal 15, vehicle speed 16 and loading operation signal 17 are fed to the microcomputor 11 every preset time in order to operate an accelerator stepping speed and steering wheel operating angular speed. The microcomputor 11 sets a rotational speed, an acceleration and a torque based on the inputted conditions and turns a chopper transistor 5 ON/OFF through an output circuit 26. The operation is repeated at a predetermined time interval. According to the invention, even a beginer can travel on a road having different- widths or curves as optimally as a skilled driver.

摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure optimal traveling characteristics at all times by throwing in a bypass contactor automatically in response to the operational conditions of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:Upon stepping of an accelerator 27, a command is provided to a microcomputer 28 through a detecting circuit 33. When the acceleration command value is higher than a predetermined value, an acceleration command comparing processor 43 allows counting operation of a timer 41 whereas a travel control processor 39 allows counting operation of the timer 41 when neither regenerative operation nor blanking operation is carried out. Chopper conduction rate is measured every predetermined time of the timer 41 and when the variation rate thereof drops below a predetermined value, power is fed through a bypass throw-in command circuit 44 to a coil 22 thus throwing in a bypass contactor 9.

摘要： PURPOSE:To protect a chopper against overvoltage, by detecting that the termi nal voltage of the chopper is clamped to Zener voltage for longer time than a predetermined time. CONSTITUTION:A motor M and a transistor TR are connected in series with a DC power source V0, and a diode DF is connected in parallel with the motor M. A Zener diode ZD is connected between the collector C and the base B of the TR in order to suppress the collector-emitter voltage VCE below the Zener voltage. A microcomputer MPU outputs a base signal DUTY from the pulse width terminal P and controls the TR to perform speed control of the motor M. The microcomputer MPU has an analog input terminal AI for receiv ing the voltage VCE of the TR. Normal judgement is made for the voltage VCE lower than the Zener voltage while overvoltage judgement is made for the voltage higher than the Zener voltage. Upon judgement of overvoltage, provision of base signal is stopped from next cycle.

CONSTITUTION:If a speed-up signal 12 is supplied to a signal generation circuit 7 after starting of running of a vehicle, a drive signal is outputted from the signal generation circuit 7 to a drive circuit 6 and a field weakening contactor 5 is introduced. In this case, a timer 9 is started and a drive signal is continuously outputted until the lapse of a given time. After the lapse of said given time, a decision circuit 8 decides a detected output of a current detection means 10 by a signal from the timer 9. Then, the signal generation circuit 7 outputs a signal for continuously introducing the field weakening contactor 5 when a motor current is less than its upper limit value and a signal for opening said contactor when said current is more than its lower limit value.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reset a protective circuit when any malfunction is occurred without being noticed by an operator, by a method wherein an accelerator reset circuit, putting a thyristor OFF for a short period of time when an accelerator is returned and resetting the protective circuit, is provided in the title controller. CONSTITUTION:When an accelerator 12 is treaded, an accelerator switch 121 is put OFF and a voltage is impressed on the converting input terminal of an operating amplifier 131 in an accelerator reset circuit 13. As a result, the output of the operating amplifier 131 becomes low level and the electric charge of a capacitor 139 is discharged through a diode 137 and a resistor 138, however, a transistor 132 is being put OFF. When the accelerator 12 is returned, the accelerator switch 121 is put ON and the voltage of the converting input terminal of the operating amplifier 131 is reduced due to a current, conducted through a diode 133 and a resistor 134, whereby the output of the same terminal becomes high level. Then, charging current for the capacitor 139 is conducted through the resistors 138, 140 and the transistor 132 whereby the transistor 132 is put ON and a protective circuit may be reset in the same manner as a case upon putting the thyristor 27 for preventing runaway ON.

摘要： PURPOSE:To effectively detect a plugging irrespective of the state of a load by delaying a current which flows to a plugging rectifier for a predetermined time to supply it to plugging judging means. CONSTITUTION:When forward/reverse contactors 2, 3 are switched to a reverse during forward traveling, a reverse induced voltage to that during power running is generated in an armature 5 to be braked through a plugging diode D2. This current is detected by a current detector CD2 which applies an output to a plugging detector 10. The detector 10 sets the output of an operational amplifier OP1 to 'H' when the current detected by the detector CD2 is higher than the set voltage. This detection is delayed by a time constant of a resistor R2 and a capacitor C1 for a predetermined time. An operational amplifier OP2 inverts the output of the amplifier OP1 to input a plugging signal to a current limiter 8.

Accordingly, the average applied voltage of the attraction coil is lowered, and a time needed to open the contact can be shortened. Power consumption can be also lowered, and so a battery percharge run time can be improved.

Through these procedures, a control device using the title semiconductor module can be made compact and lightweighted as well as making respective works such as rapid fitting, replacing steps, etc., feasible.
