    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal burning boiler which generates a combustible gas from an organic waste such as plastic, and uses the generated combustible gas as a fuel for the coal burning boiler, and also to provided an organic waste gasification furnace and a coal ash treating plant for fusion-treating coal ash generated from a combustion part of the coal burning boiler and from an economizer thereof by the gasification furnace for forming gasification. SOLUTION: There are provided the coal burning boiler, organic waste gasification furnace and coal ash treating plant. The coal ash generated in the coal burning boiler is supplied to a fusion area inside the gasification furnace, in the gasification furnace for fusion-treating the organic waste such as plastic, so as to treat continuously the coal ash with high efficiency. The combustible gas rich in carbon monoxide and hydrogen generated in the gasification furnace is supplied into the coal burning boiler at the same time and burned mixedly as fuel to use effectively the gas generated in the gasification furnace.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasifying technique of an apparatus for a solid fuel by which the temperature of a produced gas discharged from a gasifying furnace can be reduced while improving the conversion efficiency of the fuel into a gas. SOLUTION: The apparatus is equipped with the gasifying furnace 1, a produced gas channel 59, a washer 3 for washing soot particles accompanied with the produced gas passing through the produced gas channel 59 and containing unreacted combustible components with water and recovering the soot particles, a dehydrator 5 for removing a part of water from washing drain containing the soot particles recovered with the washer 3, regulating the amount of water in a slurry and producing the slurry, a pump 7 for pressurizing the produced slurry and transporting the slurry and a nozzle 11 for feeding the slurry into the gasifying furnace 1. The nozzle 11 is provided in a stepped part equipped with an upper-stage burner 25 installed on the outlet side of the produced gas of the gasifying furnace 1. The apparatus is composed so that the slurry fed from the nozzle 11 into the gasifying furnace 1 is accompanied with a descending stream formed by the upper-stage burner 25 and made to flow in the direction opposite to the flow of the produced gas in the gasifying furnace 1 directed toward the outlet.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively convey a powdery solid body such as char to a part at a high pressure without using a lock hopper system and reduce the cost in a powdery solid body conveyance apparatus.
      SOLUTION: An inflow port 43 for the powdery solid body and the char is provided on a central part of an upper part of the cylindrical suction type powdery solid body conveyance apparatus 34. One or two outlet pipes 42 for discharging the powdery solid body and a conveyance gas are arranged along the conveyance apparatus outer wall tangential line direction. Conveyance gas supply pipes 36 and 38 for rotating the powdery solid body and the conveyance gas are arranged in the tangential line direction with respect to the conveyance apparatus outer wall in front of a setting part of the outlet pipe 42. The powdery solid body is rotated by a high speed jet stream 44c from the supply pipe in the conveyance apparatus 34, and thereby the powdery solid body is forcibly rotated and sucked from the inflow port 43. Therefore, a large pressure difference from the outlet pipe 42 is generated and stable and continuous supply without a counterflow can be performed. Thus, performance equal to or more than an ejector system can be achieved.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasification furnace designed to suppress the decline in energy efficiency by ensuring slag tap to be kept hot without charging a quenching section with any auxiliary fuel, and also keep the slag tap's underside hot with a small amount of gas to effect ensuring stable slag downflow to be obtained, and to provide a gasification power generation plant and a gasifier respectively. SOLUTION: The gasification furnace works as follows. A nozzle or burner is horizontally installed in a quenching section, which is then fed with an oxygen-containing gas via the nozzle or burner to hit the gas against the wall surface of the quenching section. Alternatively, multiple nozzles or burners are made to stand against one another, jet streams of an oxygen-containing gas fed via them are mutually hit in the quenching section. Thereby, in the quenching section, a rising gas flow turning toward slag tap's underside is generated. The oxygen-containing gas fed into the quenching section is mixed with a generated gas descending from a gasification section along the slag tap near the slag tap's underside and burnt to effect keeping the slag tap's underside hot.
