    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a manager to precisely decide his necessary information according to the plant operation state by showing the system-based alarms on a display monitor panel to recognize an abnormal system and also showing the individual alarms generated in the systems on a display means. SOLUTION: The information shown on the large screen display devices 4A and 4B are monitored by many persons in all operation modes including the start, normal operation, stop and abnormal operation modes of a plant. The proper information is shown every time the information on both display devices are monitored. These shown information are primarily identical with the information on a normal operation mode. The detailed plant information are shown on the CRT display devices 2A to 2G. In other words, a total constitution of the plant is displayed together with the parameter necessary for the plant monitoring. Then a relevant message and the states of important equipments vary in the total plant constitution according to the plant operation state. At the same time, the important parameters are sometimes displayed. These parameters are produced from the plant data and the information on the operation means 3A to 3C.

    • PURPOSE:To accurately measure the state of the suspended particles in a suspension by an on-line system, by allowing an ultrasonic wave to propagate through a liquid and discriminating the flocculation effect of the suspended substance on the basis of the reflected ultrasonic wave from the suspended substance or the signal level of the transmitted ultrasonic wave through the suspension. CONSTITUTION:A timing setting circuit 31 generates a timing signal ST at a constant cycle and a pulse generation circuit 32 generates a pulse signal in synchronous relation to the timing signal ST to apply the same to an ultrasonic transmitting/receiving element 20. This transmitting/receiving element 20 outputs an ultrasonic wave into a suspension 11 upon the reception of the pulse signal. The ultrasonic wave impinged to a suspended substance 12 in the ultrasonic wave propagating through the suspension 11 is partially transmitted through said suspended substance 12 and partially absorbed thereby to be converted to an electric signal. A receiving signal is amplified by an amplifier 33 to be inputted to a detection circuit 34 and the output S01 of said circuit 34 is sent to a flocculation effect discrimination circuit 40 and, when the reflected wave level from the suspended substance 12 is low, it is discriminated that flocculation is well performed and, when the reflected level is high, it is judged that flocculation is insufficient.

    • PURPOSE:To easily avoid the overlap of a split-facility drawing and an attribute when they are displayed at one time by moving the attribute display in case an attribute display window overlaps a designated pattern of the split-facility drawing. CONSTITUTION:At the outset, the coordinates of a window reference point under display are retrieved and grasped. The reference point coordinates are coincident with the lower left-reference point A0(X0, Y0) of an attribute display window 104 in a pattern display area 103 as shown in a figure (a). The moving destination reference point A1(X1, Y1) can be movably designated at an optional position via the point A0 with operation of a mouse 207 when a window is moved. An attribute display position is converted into the coordinates of an attribute data display start point within an attribute window 104 in response to the shift of the coordinates of the reference point of the window 104. Then a pattern area of a background pattern part overlapping the window 104 is erased. The window 104 is displayed in the area where the background pattern is erased.
