    • PURPOSE: To reduce a rising time from the application of power till the drive of a programmable controller(PC) while keeping the reliability by skipping a grammatical check of a sequence program when a flag is monitored and the controller is discriminated normal. CONSTITUTION: The grammatical check is conducted by monitoring a grammatical check result flag 15 and decide whether or not a flag value provided in a user memory 16 is '1' (step 9). In the case of the flag set to 1, the drive of the programmable controller(PC) is started without succeeding processing. In the case of the flag set to 0, grammatical check is made to each instruction and whether or not the check result denotes an error is decided (step 11), and when any error is in existence, the routine proceeds to the error processing (step 12). When no error is in existence, the succeeding step 14 is proceeded and the grammatical check result flag 15 is set to '1' and the drive of the PC is started. Thus, the grammatical check from succeeding starts is only check of the flag in place of the grammatical check of each instruction and then the succeeding start of the PC is reduced.
