    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the operability of the channel selection means by having only to select and designate a specific channel among plural sub images so as to display a sub image onto a screen. SOLUTION: A memory circuit 19 has a capacity of a multiple of N of a pattern number and stores channel information of a sub image while classifying the information based on classification of broadcast signals. When the operator uses an operation means 15 to designate an optional classification by a sub image display section 31, a 2nd channel selection control means 14 displays a sub image corresponding to the designated classification onto a television screen from a display processing means 18 based on the information from the memory means 19. When a more interesting displayed sub image is in existence than a man image, the operator uses a sub image selection section 32 to designate the image, a 1st channel selection control means 13 switches a reception channel of the main image into a reception channel of the designated sub channel automatically. Thus, in the television receiver where the plural sub images are displayed on the television screen together with the main image, the channel of the selected sub image is displayed on the TV screen by having only to designate a specific channel in the plural selected sub images by a sub image selection section 32.

    • PURPOSE:To continuously and efficiently measure the pitch of materials to be measured by rotating a rotating body disposed with the many materials to be measured along the outer periphery and detecting the outer peripheral part thereof with a laser displacement meter. CONSTITUTION:A commutator 3 of a rotor for a DC motor annularly arranged alternately with >=1,000 sheets of copper bars and insulating materials is mounted to a rotary table 4 and the laser displacement meter 1a is disposed on the outer peripheral side of the commutator 3. The laser displacement meter 1a continuously detects the ruggedness of the copper bars and the insulating materials and fetches the measurement data via a controller 1b into a computer 5. The angle data of a revolution type angle meter 2 mounted to the turn table 4 is fetched into the computer 5 via a counter 2b. The computer 5 reads the data of both and makes computation from the outside diameter size of the commutator 3. The pitch measurement of the copper bars is thus continuously executed.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a resin filler from flowing out to a winding conductor side face by laminating a plurality of materials obtained by combination of nonwoven fabrics on a Roebel transition region and by heating and pressing said materials. CONSTITUTION:A laminated mica-containing nonwoven fabric laminate 2 arranged in Roebel transition regions 1A, 1B produced by combination of small conductors is a laminated mica-containing, epoxy prepreg-impregnated glass or tetoron nonwoven fabric. A plurality of laminated mica-containing, epoxy prepreg-impregnated nonwoven fabrics 2 are laminated for use. Accordingly, each nonwoven fabric is also composed of a plurality of layers so that said nonwoven fabrics control the fluidity of resin and mica when heated and pressed. Therefore, said resin is prevented from flowing out along the outside of other parts 1 of the Roebel transition region and forming a space between the resin and small conductors, and it is possible to eliminate a work for removing said resin having flowed out to the surface of a winding conductor. Consequently, said winding conductor can be manufactured with a small quantity of man-hours.

    • PURPOSE:To enable dielectric breakdown voltage to be easily enhanced, by inserting sheet strip insulating material to cover the side face of a bending- processed section, when a covered wire bundle covered with turn insulation material is wound up and bending-processed to be formed in a haxagonal shape. CONSTITUTION:After a wire bundle 7 is formed by tying up a plurality of the wires of conductors 5 provided with insulating material 6, in a bundle, the outer periphery is covered with turn insulation material 8. By winding up a coil former with the covered with bundle by specified frequency, a pig coil is formed. Then, through the side face of the wire bundle 7 of the section bending-processed in the following process, a sheet insulating substance 10 is inserted to be wound up. The sheet insulating substance 10 may be arranged to cover the three faces of each wire bundle in a 'U' shape or may be continuously wound up. After that, the section is bending-processed and a coil is formed in a hexagonal shape. By this method, the deterioration of processing insulation material can be easily made up for.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high heat contraction characteristic in an extensive temperature range by arranging such that a heat contractile force working at its maximum in a low temperature range is kept smaller than a contractile force working at its maximum in high temperature range. CONSTITUTION:An extensive temperature range heat contractile tape c1 is obtained through combining a fibrous material a1 like vinyl chloride which exerts its maximum contractile force in a low temperature range and a fibrous material b1 like polycarbonate which exerts its maximum contractile force in a high temperature range. A characteristic curve of the tape c1 for temperature and contractile force indicates a high contraction characteristic in an extensive temperature range to have a contractile force working small in a low temperature range but large in a high temperature range through a synthesized characteristic of both materials a1 and b1. From heating and molding that with an insulating layer impregnated with resin on the conductor wound by the tape c1 on its outer perimeter, a pressurizing action of the force of heat contractil material c1 is capable of giving a voidless and compact insulating layer.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent a video signal from being mis-detected as an identification signal even in the reproduction state of a VTR by controlling the television receiver not only based on a detection result of an EDTV-II identification signal but also based on a detection result of a range of presence/absence of video image. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing separator circuit 7 separates both horizontal and vertical synchronizing signal from a video signal received from a terminal 1. A gate pulse generating circuit 8 generates a gate pulse for a period of 22H and 285H for which an EDTV-II identification signal is inserted. An output from an LPF clamp circuit 2 is converted into a binary value representing presence/absence of video image by a binarizing circuit 3. An ED identification signal identification circuit 5 discriminates whether or not a video signal is an EDTV-II identification signal based on information of bits 1 to 5 of the EDTV-II identification signal inserted in the video signal. A line detection circuit 9 provides an output of information of a start line when the circuit 9 detects the presence of a video image on a first line in a vertical direction and provides an output of information of an end line when the circuit 9 detects the presence of a video image on a final line to a picture display control circuit 6. The picture display control circuit 6 provides an output of a pattern size switching signal to a deflection circuit 10 based on the discrimination result of an EDTV-II identification signal discrimination information 5 and the video image start/end line information.
