摘要： PURPOSE:To make the steam drum itself capable to be made small in size, with a cavitation prevented from generation in the system line, by such method that, with a steam separation operated in the interior of each pressure tube assembly, only the steam be made passing to flow in the system line leading to the steam drum. CONSTITUTION:When a two phase flow of steam and water, generated in each pressure tube assembly 1, passes flowing toward the outlet of a top extension tube 1a, said flow is given a rotation by a spiral blade of the vane, with a separation made between steam and water. The separated steam is led out to a steam outlet tube 8, passing through an outlet intermediate header 9 and an outlet manifold 10 to be led to a steam drum 11, thereafter being fed to the turbine driven generator via the main steam system line 22. On the contrary, the separated water is led to a down fall tube 17, after being merged into the condensing water flow and pressurized by a recirculating pump 18, being returned to a bottom extension tube 16 of each pressure tube assembly 1 through an inlet intermediate header 20 and an inlet tube 21.

摘要： PURPOSE:To enable to minimize the corrosion of a packing by fluid, by providing a mechanism for shifting the center of a gravity of a float, and thereby increasing the force for urging a valve body onto its valve seat rapidly at a position where the valve is about to close fully. CONSTITUTION:With rising of the liquid level in a float 9, it is moved upward. At a position where the valve is almost fully closed, the float is raised to the position shown by the solid line in the drawing. Thereupon, a steel ball 10 is disengaged from a stopper 12 and rolls from a position A to a position B, so that the center of gravity of the float is shifted. Here, since the moment of rotation by the weight of the float is reduced resultantly, the moment of rotation exerted to urge the float onto a valve seat by the function of buoyancy is increased on the contrary, so that the valve can be closed completely at the instant. Therefore, it is enabled to reduce erosion of a packing by the fluid to a large extent.
