摘要： PURPOSE:To decrease signal noises in a SQUID fluxmeter and to improve sensitivity by providing a pickup coil comprising a high-temperature superconductor material, and cooling only the SQUID to the temperature of liquid helium. CONSTITUTION:For a SQUID 100, a superconductor material which is operated at the temperature of liquid helium is used. For the pickup coil 101, a thin film of high-temperature superconductor material having high transition temperature is used. The coil 101 is connected to the SQUID 100 through a heat switch 102 and a plug 103 which can be attached and removed. Only the SQUID 100 and the switch 102 are submerged into a liquid helium vessel 105. A heat radiation shield 108 is arranged around the vessel 105. The entire shield 108 is inserted into a vacuum chamber 110 with evacuating bellow 109. The inside is shielded from the external area with the vacuum. A base plate 111, which is sealed with the chamber 110 and an O ring and forms a part of the chamber 110, is arranged in front of the coil 101. The base plate 111 can be attached and removed. The plate 11 is made to approach a sample 112. The output signal of the SQUID 100 is transmitted into a SQUID control circuit 113 and processed in a computer.
