    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor and a generator enhancing heat radiation, while attaining miniaturization of the motor.
SOLUTION: The motor is made in a form of axially positioning in its both ends brackets 30, 40 to arrange in an inner side thereof a radial rib (protrusion 31), the motor is constituted to be assembled in such a manner that the rib 31 is arranged in between spaces of coil ends 14 adjacent to each other of a stator. By making the protrusion 31 serve as a refrigerant passage, a stator winding further improves the heat radiation, so as to provide the motor of high efficiency, miniaturization and light weight. An elastic body superior in thermal conductivity and insulation may be interposed in between the coil end 14 and the inner surface of the bracket.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to mount magnets onto the surface of a rotor without using an adhesive, by mounting a plurality of mounting hardware comprising non-magnetic spring members onto the surface of the rotor with rivets or screws at an equal interval in the circumferential direction, and by mounting the magnets between the neighboring mounting hardware. SOLUTION: A plurality of rivet passing holes 6a are provided in a rotor 2 radially from its center at an equal interval in the circumferential direction. Countersink 6c are formed to prevent the heads of rivets 4 from projecting out of the outside circumference of the rotor 2 at the outside circumference side of the rivet passing holes 6a. Rivet passing holes 6b are provided in mounting hardware 3, too, and the rotor 2 and the mounting hardware 3 are connected with rivets in a state that the positions of the rivet passing holes 6a, 6b each provided are matched. The mounting position of magnets 5 in the circumferential direction can easily be controlled by mounting the magnets 5 between neighboring mounting hardware 3 mounted onto the rotor 2 with the rivets 4.
