    • PURPOSE:To reduce the thermal off-track by constituting a magnetic head supporting guide arm by an aluminum group material having an equal thermal expansion rate to that of a tightening member coupling both the guide arms and arm holders of plural number individually. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 4 is fitted to the guide arm 1 via the load arm 5 and the arm holder 2 is fitted to the pibot shaft 6 of a carriage assembly by a screw 7 and a VCM coil 8 is fitted to one end of the holder 2. Moreover, a side plate 9 is fitted to the holder 2 and the arm 1 is coupled by the head pin 3 to the holder 2. A spacer 10, a washer 11 and a nut 2 for coupling are provided and the contact point between the arm 1 and the holder 2 is contact points 13, 14, 15. The arm 1, the holder 2 and the pin 3 are in accurate motion as shown in the arrow 6 around the pivot shaft 6 and the magnetic head 4 is positioned on a prescribed track on the disk. The material for the pin 3 is selected to be an aluminum group material having the similar thermal expansion rate to that of the arm 1 and the holder 2 and the strength of the pin 3 is selected to be the same as that of a ordinary stainless-made pin.

    • PURPOSE:To correct the eccentricity of a magnetic disc by providing plural cam mechanisms on a circle smaller than the innermost circumference of the magnetic disc taking the rotating center of a rotating body as its center to guide an inner circumference of the magnetic disc by the cam mechanisms. CONSTITUTION:Cams 5 of the identical shape interlocked with the turning of the shaft 4 are provided to the shaft 4 corresponding to magnetic discs 7 to guide the discs 7 for stacking. In stacking the discs, the cams 5 are placed with much fitting clearance as shown in solid lines in figure, and then each shaft 4 is turned by an equal amount to a reference position so that the cams come to a position shown in broken lines thereby decreasing the clearance gradually. The reference position is set to a point 11 where the remotest point 12 of the cams 5 from the center of the shaft 4 is closest to the rotating center 0 as shown in, e.g., black point 11. In turning each shaft 4 by an equal amount to the reference position 11, when all the cams contact the magnetic discs 7, the geometrical center of the magnetic discs 7 is coincident with the rotating center 0 because the shape of each cam 5 is in accordance with the same standards.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain certain sealing faculty with a small-sized and lightweight constitution by allowing a bearing itself to be provided with a magnetic sealing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A roller bearing equipped with sealing mechanism is constituted of an annular outer ring 3, inner ring 2, a plurality of rolling bodies 1 (spere), retainer 6, annular disc-shaped magnets 12 fixed in the upper and the lower parts inside the outer ring 3, and the magnetic 20 fluid which fills the part between the disc-shaped magnets 12 and the inner ring 2. Since the disc shaped magnet 12 is magnetized in the radial direction, a magnetic circuit is constituted of the inner ring 2 and the outer ring 3 which are made of magnetic material, and the magnetic fluid 20 which has a magnetic-flux density of 500-2,000 gauss and fills the annular gap 13 having a length of 1-0.3mm. between the inner ring 2 and the magnets 12 seals the gap by the magnetic force of said fluid, and thus sealing faculty can be secured.
