    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the reuse of information on the structural conversion of CAD data, thus reducing to a required minimum a portion that describes the program of a CAD conversion process.
      SOLUTION: Component elements of data characteristic of a CAD system and component elements of data in a CAD standard format to be integrated are extracted and visually displayed. The component elements are visually associated with each other by straight lines. Also, conversion functions are visually positioned on the straight lines, whereby the association and relation of conversion between the component elements of the data in the CAD characteristic format and the component elements of the data in the standard format are visually displayed as rules of association between the data component elements. Further, constraint rules on conversion results for associating the data in the standard format after the conversion are visually displayed. The data displayed are recorded in an integrated DB 40 and reused as knowledge reusable in a process during CAD data conversion.

    • PURPOSE: To reduce the transfer processing time by compressing data file trans fer data based on a data pattern designated at transfer of a data file or a division period. CONSTITUTION: When the user designates a data pattern or a division period to a data compression decoding processing section 12 in advance, a data file stored in a transfer data file storage device 4 is read, and in the case of designating the data pattern, a pattern is searched to divided data, and in the case of designating the division period, difference data are generated while conducting division for each division period and the generated difference data are given to a data transfer processing section 11. The data transfer processing section 11 sends data to a data transfer processing section 21 through a communication channel. The data transfer processing section 21 gives the received data to a data compression decoding processing section 22. The data compression decoding processing section 22 decodes the received data and generates a file and they are stored in a transfer data file storage device 5.

An operation history storing storage device 80 fetches internal information 20a from an application program or an operating system operating in a calculating device 20 for working, connecting the data 70b and the information 20a to make them operation history data 80b and stores the data 80b in an operation content database 80a. A similar operation history display executing device 90 makes the data 80b an input, refers to a similarity database 90a and an operation content database to retrieve past similar operation examples, outputs the next operation contents to the device 20 and shows it on an input-output device 10.
