    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a suction body to be operated regardless of the direction of the suction body and to prevent damage of the cleaning face and abrasion of wheels, by equipping a second wheel which is protruded downward by rotation of a connection tube onto the lower part of the suction body and a brush member protruded downside than a first wheel on the outside of the first wheel rotation axis extended line. SOLUTION: A pair of front wheels are equipped on the lower case so that a suction body is longitudinally moved and a prescribed interval between the lower face of the suction body and the cleaning face. A roller is equipped to receive pressure on the cleaning face during cleaning. A pressure control plate 131 to hold suction pressure in the suction body is equipped in front and rear of the lower case. A pair of wheel pedestals 120 are equipped on both sides of a casing so as to be able to be appeared/ disappeared and a wheel 123 for lateral moving is axially supported almost orthogonally against a roller 132. An uneven part 140 is equipped in front of the suction body and, on both sides thereof, a pair of scraping brush 177 is equipped in the vicinity of the front wheel 125. By this constitution, dust can be scraped up and sucked without damaging the cleaning face by the uneven part 140 and the scraping brush 177.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a wiping work efficiency by fixing a wiping member in contact with the outer peripheral parts of casters thereby preventing re- contamination of dirt by mechanism parts excepting for the wiping member in order to improve the travelability of a suction port. SOLUTION: A suction port main body constitutes an outer case of an upper case, a lower case 3 and a suction port cover and forms a horizontally long suction port on the front and lower side of the case 3. In addition the case 3 is provided with a small caster 11 on the front and lower side and a large caster on the rear and lower side to fix an interval between the lower surface of the case 3 and a floor surface. This small caster 11 is constituted of a metallic shaft 12, caster inner ring 13 made of resin such as nylon and a caster outer ring made of elastic vinyl chloride, etc., and in this case, the case 3 of a small caster supporting part 43 is allowed to support one tip of a flat spring 16 and the other tip to support the wiping member 14. Then the member 14 is brought into contact with the outer peripheral surface 13b of the caster 11 by the energizing force of the spring 16 to exclude dirt at the caster 11.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such a selector lever as required to be changed over depending on the type of a cleaned surface such as a wooden floor and a carpet, and improve a convenience for handling by forming an intake port on an upper case, and an intake passage in a suction opening body for communicating an air introduction port and the intake port to each other. SOLUTION: A suction opening body 101 is formed out of a lower case 102 to form an outer part and an upper case laid on the upper part of the lower case 102. The rear end of the suction opening body 101 has a vertically rotatable casing 104, and a rotatable suction opening body joint 105 is connected to the end of the casing 104. Also, a suction port 108 is formed approximately at the center of the lower case 102, and suction passages 109 having approximately semi-circular arc cross section are formed at the right and left sides of the suction port 108. Furthermore, the side of the suction opening body 101 of the lower case 102 is formed to have a suction opening 115. Also, an air introduction channel 110 and an air introduction port 111 communicated to the suction passages 109 are formed in the vicinity of both sides the suction opening body 101.

    • PURPOSE: To provide an upright type vacuum cleaner capable of eliminating exhaust wind to blow to a body and cleaning hygienically, by mounting a pedal part to engage with inclination of the main body and a hose attaching part in an identical direction and an exhaust port on the opposite side of the main body in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION: A pedal 46 to slantly rotate a main body 1 and to engage with it is constructed in the rear side of a cover for a suction opening 23. Since an exhaust port 70 is in the central part of the right side, opposite to the left side, of the main body with the pedal 46 and exhaust wind is discharged in the horizontal direction, dust on the floor cannot be blown off. When a low floor such as under a bed, etc., is cleaned, since the exhaust port 70 is not blocked by a lower part of the bed, abnormal temperature elevation of an electric blower 12 is eliminated. When a connection pipe 62 is rotated and pulled off the main body duct to use a crevice nozzle 66, since a hand or a face is in the opposite side of the exhaust port 70, no exhaust wind blows onto those and the pipe can be easily removed.

    • PURPOSE:To easily wash a rotary cleaning body with water and invariably keep it clean by freely exchanging a rotary cleaning body wound with a wiping brush made of chemical fibers and a rotary cleaning body spirally fitted with wiping brushes in opposite directions on both sides from the center of cylindrical brush bases. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cleaning body 13A is provided with a spiral rotary core 22A made of foamed resin and a blade 12, and it is arranged with a pulley at one end and a friction pulley 21 coupled with a friction wheel 20 at the other end. Bearing covers 25 rotatably supported by bearings at both ends and pressed in with sliding bearings 24 are held by the ribs of the lower case of a suction port. A wiping brush planted with fine nylon fibers on brush bases 65a, 65b spirally wound in opposite directions from the center of the outer periphery of a hollow cylinder 65 is inserted into the rotary core 22A. The rotary core 22A is supported by the bearing covers 25 at both ends. The rotary cleaning body 13A and the wiping brush are exchanged according to the floor face, and they are easily removed and washed with water.

    • PURPOSE:To rake up dust on a carpet or the like or to wipe a wooden floor, etc., with dry cloth, just with one rotary brush by providing a blade part to rake up dust on the carpet, etc., and a brush part to clean or polish the wooden floor, etc., at the outer periphery of a rotary brush. CONSTITUTION:A rotary brush 13 is provided with plural continuous groove parts 65 in the lengthwise direction of a rotary core part 22, blades 12 are fitted at two symmetrical positions on the cross sections of the groove parts 65, and similarly, brushes 66 are fitted at two remaining symmetrical positions on the cross sections. In this case, when a motor 16 is revolved corresponding to the operating direction, a driving wheel 35 is rotated in the same direction as the motor 16. The rotary brush 13 is rotated oppositely to the motor 16 while changing the rotating direction by transmitting the friction of friction wheels 20 and 48 in the middle. Thus, since the outer periphery of the blade part 12 does not touch the floor at all times but the outer periphery of the brush part 66 touches the floor when a sucking port body 1 of the rotary brush 13 is grounded on the floor, dust is raked up by the blade part at the time of carpet cleaning.
