摘要： PURPOSE:To automatically extract a keyword by extracting an independent word from a character string, which is the object of edition, when character string emphasis function is designated and comparing the extracted independent word with a keyword dictionary. CONSTITUTION:When the character string to be the object of the edition is designated on a CRT 190 by using a cursor moving key and the positions of characters 310 and 320 are designated, the character string such as 'memory control of computer' is selected. When edition processing is emphasis designation, the extraction of the independent word is executed to the character string which is the object of the edition and the two independent words such as 'computer' and 'memory control' are extracted. The extracted independent words are compared with words registered in a keyword dictionary 151. To the word determined as the keyword by this check of keyword suitability, registration or the update of former registration is executed to an extracted keyword table to be stored in a memory 141.

摘要： PURPOSE:To omit the useless processing within a designated range for page arrangement and to attain the document processing at a high speed, by carrying out selectively arrangement of document pages between a page under display and a designated page with reference to the memory information when the change is indicated to the displayed pages. CONSTITUTION:The information showing the overs/shorts relation of character data value is stored in a page state control table as 'page stage', for example, together with the information on absence or presence of change of the contents stored as 'page compiling flag' respectively. When a page call is indicated, it is checked whether the pages under display are compiled or not with reference to the page compiling flag. If the pages under display are not compiled yet, the storage of the page data into a file is omitted. While propriety for page arrangement is decided for each page with reference to the page compiling flag as well as each page state existing between a page under compiling and a called out page. Then only necessary pages are arranged and then the called page is displayed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To contrive to decrease the changing-over operation of a character type by character-converting the attribute of a character string to be inputted as the attribute of the inputted character string at the position near the input position of the already inputted character string. CONSTITUTION:When a character key input exists, and an automatic shifting changing- over flag is on, an automatic character type flag is referred to, and when the flag is off, a manual character type flag is referred to and a key code is converted to a character code in accordance with the type code set in the flag. After the input position is moved, the automatic shifting changing-over flag is decided, and when the flag is on, the inputted character type of an input position is decided. When the inputted character is not present, the character type closest to the input position is investigated and the obtained character type is set to the automatic character type flag. When the character after the input is not the character type expected by a user by the automatic shifting changing-over, by providing a means to pushing down simultaneously a control key and a shifting key and change the inputted character type immediately before it, an error input can be corrected. Thus, at the time of correcting the inputted character string, the character type changing-over operation can be omitted and the operability is improved.
