摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the transferring function of optical layer monitor control information and to realize a transferring method, without parting a matched SHD layer by inserting information concerning the monitor control of an optical signal carrying a digital signal into the unused part of the digital signal with specific frame constitution. SOLUTION: An optical receiver 14-2 of a device 4 converts a received optical signal 131 into an electric signal for generating receiving-side input data 111-2 a to transfer them to an optical layer information detecting part 2-2. The part 2-2 transfers optical layer information detected from the data 111-2 a as a receiving-side optical layer 103-2 a to an optical layer information processing part 8-2. Thus. receiving-side optical layer information 103-1 a transmitted by the optical layer information processing part 8-1 of a device 3 is received as the layer 103-2 a by the part 8-2. The part 8-2 mounted to the device 4, similarly transfers receiving-side optical layer information 103-1 b to an optical information adding part 1-2.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength multiplex transmission system by which deterioration in communication quality such as wavelength deviation of an optical signal and a characteristic change in an optical amplifier is easily detected with a small system scale. SOLUTION: An optical receiver 300 that receives an optical signal applying wavelength multiplexing to pluralities of signals is provided with optical current monitor circuits 17-19 that measure a current indicating intensity of a received light of optical receivers 14-16 receiving a signal with each wavelength for each received light and with a controller 20 that obtains a change with respect to a predetermined initial setting value and detects occurrence of deteriorated communication quality and a cause to the deterioration by comparing the arrangement of the changes for each wavelength with a predetermined conditional pattern.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden of a network supervisory control system and to shorten a time till alternate circuit reservation by notifying whether relief path reservation is possible or not as information which is exchanged between networks. SOLUTION: When one of the two circuits which are west side and east side multipoint circuits is for fault detection information detection, a relief request insertion instruction is sent to a circuit information insertion part 1503, and when both of the two circuits are for either UNEQ or AIS multipoint circuit fault detection, a fault detection information insertion instruction is sent to the part 1503. When the part 1503 receives a fault detection information insertion instruction from a multipoint circuit supervisor part 1504, the part 1503 inverts a 1st bit of C two bytes. A 1st bit of the C two bytes conforms to the fault detection information insertion instruction and inverts itself despite a situation of a ring outside receiving circuit 1530. When the part 1503 receives the relief request insertion instruction, the part 1503 inverts a 2nd bit of C two bytes in the circuit 1530 in a ring outside receiving transmisiion line 1532.
