    • PURPOSE: To obtain the positioning mechanism which easily positions the knife- edge and is hardly affected by temperature variation by fixing the knife edge to one side of a leaf spring which is formed in a folding shape, and applying force to the other side of said spring and making a jogging adjustment of the knife edge.
      CONSTITUTION: The device consists of the leaf spring 1, knife edge 3, leaf-spring fitting screw 4, and adjusting screw 5, and the knife-edge 3 is fixed to a fitting plate 2 molded integrally with the leaf spring 1 by adhesion, welding, etc. The leaf spring 1 is fixed with the fitting screw 4 and the end surface of the leaf spring is moved with the adjusting screw 5; and the leaf spring 1 deforms elastically at this time to exert its influence upon the knife edge side, and the knife edge is moved forth and back so that the motion of the adjusting screw is reduced. The movement extent of the knife-edge part is increased at a loading point and the movement extent at the loading point is converted into a rotational angle through the adjusting screw 5, so the knofe edge 3 is positioned easily. Further, the knife edge 3 hardly shifts in position owing to temperature variation and defocusing is detected stably.

    • PURPOSE:To always take out a stable detection signal by controlling variation, by providing two or more of light receiving surfaces to a light receiving element so as to shift the phases of detection signals respectively outputted from the light receiving surfaces by about 180 deg.. CONSTITUTION:An auxiliary moire fringe 2 is arranged in almost closely contacted relation to a movable moire fringe 1 so that single side slits thereof are perfectly superposed to the slits of the movable moire fringe 1 while the other side slits thereof are staggered therefrom and light receiving quantities and phases are perfectly shifted by 180 deg. and both slits become parallel. Further, a light receiving elements 4, 5 are respectively arranged in front of right and left slits of the auxiliary moire fringe 2 and a light receiving element 3 is arranged at the position of the almost equal distance from the light receiving elements 4, 5 so that the output levels of the light receiving elements 4, 5 are same and become max. By this mechanism, the variation in a position detection signal is reduced and the stability of positional determination control by moire fringes can be enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate assembly and stabilize detecting signals, by bringing parallel slits between light source and movable slits, allowing only parallel fluxes and nearly parallel fluxes among the fluexes from the source to pass and allowing the light fluxes from the source to assume apparently parallel fluexes. CONSTITUTION:Parallel slits 2 consisting of parallel laminations of extremely thin plates are inserted between light source 1 and movable linear scale 3. On a fixed scale 4, an opening is provided with a pitch deviated by an angle of 180 deg.C of output phase detected by a light receiving surface 6 corresponding to the surfaces 6 and 7 of a light receiving element 5 in accompaniment with the movable scale 3. As the flux from the source 1 enters into the scale 3 after passing through the parallel slits 2, the flux is restricted by the slit widths of the slits 2 and the parallel fluexs and only nearly parallel fluxes out of the light from the source can be taken out.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an accessing system which is capable of positioning of high accuracy suitable for an optical disk, by executing a seek operation by use of an external positioning scale. CONSTITUTION:On a swing arm 1 of an optical head 2, a moire interference fringe scale 40 whose pitch interval is rougher than a track interval of an optical disk 3 is provided. Subsequently, a difference of a scale value corresponding to a target track and a scale value corresponding to a present track is set to a down-counter, and in accordance with an output of a moire detecting circuit 41, down-counting is executed. By this rough scale, the seek control is executed without generating overshoot, vibration, etc., and in accordance with a zero signal of an output of the down-counter, switching to the tracking control is executed by reading out a track by the head 2. According to this constitution, it is possible to obtain an accessing system which is capable of executing the positioning of high accuracy suitable for an optical disk for recording in high density.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a device suitable for positioning of an optical disk while improving positioning performance by fitting a reflecting mirror to a movable part and detecting its position through a photosensor, generating a speed signal by the position signal through a differentiating circuit, and providing negative feedback to a driving coil input and obtaining attenuating effect. CONSTITUTION:The reflecting mirror 10 is stuck by an adhesive to a fitting plate 6 for a driving coil 4 which positions the movable mirror 5. The photosensor 10 incorporates compactly a light emission part 1 and a photodetection part 12; and the light emission part 1 emits light corresponding to a power source 13-1, and the light is reflected by the reflecting mirror 10 to enter the photodetection part 12. The photodetection part 12 driven by the power source 13-b generates an output by receiving the light, and its output is inputted to the differentiation circuit consisting of amplifiers 14, 15, and 16, a resistance R, a capacitor C, etc., and converted from a position signal to a speed signal V. The speed signal v is fed back negatively to the input of the driving coil 4 to vary the voltage of the power source 13-a, realizing the damping effect.
