    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prohibit the disconnection of calling even in the middle of communication by reading the subscribers circuit internal state memory of a subscribers circuit to be switched by its each information subscriber circuit in advance of switching of a subscriber circuit, and writing it to the subscriber circuit internal state memory of a switching destination subscriber circuit. SOLUTION: The subscriber circuit control circuit 25a of a subscriber circuit 2a to be mounted to a subscriber circuit package 1a stores various kinds of parameters in a subscriber circuit internal state memory 24a each time of detecting the state change of the subscriber circuit. Then, the parameters are reported to the controller 30 of a subscriber exchange via a control line 50 to store the content of the memory 24a in a storing device 40. When a fault occurs in the circuit 2a mounted to the package 1a to be connected with a subscriber terminal 3, the controller 30 writes information already stored in the device 40 through the line 50 with the fault as a turning point in the subscriber circuit internal state memory 24 of each subscriber circuit mounted to a spare subscriber circuit package 1b.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a subscriber exchange that switch-selects a standby subscriber circuit without interrupting communication that is held by an active subscriber circuit even on the occurrence of a fault in the active subscriber circuit. SOLUTION: An internal state memory 14 of the active subscriber circuit 1 always stores information with respect to a state of the active subscriber circuit 1 and transfers this information to a storage device 30 of a host controller 20 and the storage device stores this information. The host controller 20 monitors the operating state of each subscriber circuit 1, reads the information of the subscriber circuit internal state memory 14 of the active subscriber circuit that is to be replaced on the occurrence of a fault in the active subscriber circuit from the storage device 30, writes this information to a subscriber circuit internal state memory 24 of the standby subscriber circuit to be switch-selected and then replaces the active subscriber circuit with the standby subscriber circuit. Thus, the standby subscriber circuit that is switch-selected can continue the communication without the need for the setting sequence of initial parameter learning.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the occupancy rate of a communication line between a communication equipment and a network management equipment by providing a fault information classification table to a communication equipment being an object of management for the classification in response to the emergency of fault information. CONSTITUTION:A communication equipment detected by fault information detection sections 50, 50N of the communication equipment identifies whether fault information is immediate information or nonimmediate information by fault information classification tables 30, 3N and classifies the information. The fault information classified into nonimmediate information is sent to nonimmediate information management sections 40, 4N, stored once and transferred to a network management equipment while being added to routine information at the transfer of the routine information. Thus, the occupancy rate of the communication line is reduced, the information transfer efficiency is improved and the information quantity to be processed by the network management equipment is reduced.
