    • PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of assembly and to improve the productivity of the titled impeller by a method wherein a support plate subjected to a burring process is weided to the inner surface of a main plate and the welded whole is fitted about a same diametered section of the outer peripheral surface of the shaft through a flange of the suopport plate formed as a result of the burring process. CONSTITUTION:The support plate 2A having a center hole is welded to the main plate 1A having a center hole by a projection welding method capable of assuring a high rate of productivity and the welded whole is fitted about the shaft 3. In this case, the support plate 2A is subjected to the burring process prior to welding so that the plate 2A is provided with the flange 10 having a large fitting surface forming the peripheray of the center hole of the plate 2A and through which the plate is fitted about the same diametered section of the outer peripheral surface of the shaft 3, while, on the other hand, the main plate 1A is fitted about a tapered section 9 of the shaft, to thereby increase the precision of assembly. Next, the main plate 1A or the support plate 2A is fastened from outside by means of a male screw bolt 12 and a nut 8 through a washer 7 to thereby fix the impeller to the shaft 3. With the above sturcture, the fastening force applied on the main plate 1A by the bolt and the nut is equally balanced against the tapered section 9 of the shaft 3 so that the plates 1A and 2A are not deformed and since they do not bite in the shaft 3, they can be assembled with a high degree of precision. Further, the above fixing structure has such advantages that the assembly and disassembly of the main plate 1A and the support plate 2A are facilitated and the productivity of the impeller is improved because no key way forming process is required.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a titled device which permits easy positioning of upper and lower electrodes with good accuracy by fixing the upper and lower electrodes respectively to electrode holding means mounted deviatably to upper and lower platens, and making the same attachable and detachable via guide means. CONSTITUTION:Upper and lower electrodes 5, 6 are positioned and fixed respectively in prescribed positions by electrode fixing means consisting of lock bolts 14, 16 and positioning pins 15, 15 to electrode holding means, i.e., upper and lower plates 11, 12 which are mounted deviatably and freely attachably and detachably, via T grooves 3, 4 and T blocks 20, 27, to upper and lower platens 1, 2 and are constituted attachably and detachably with the guide of guide posts 13. The electrodes 5, 6 are electrically connected, via conductive members 24, 31 of copper, etc. embedded in the through-holes 23, 30 of the plates 11, 12, with the platens 1, 2 respectively so that electricity is made conductable to members to be welded grasped between both electrodes in the stage of welding.
