摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine detecting the water level and vibration of an outer tank at a low cost in a simple structure and reducing noise at the time of washing and dehydrating on the basis of that. SOLUTION: A water level and vibration detection means, constituted of a water level detection means provided with a coil and a magnetic body to be inserted to the coil proportionally to the water pressure of water accumulated in the outer tank and a vibration detection means fixed near the coil and detecting the vibration of the outer tank from a voltage induced to the coil by relatively vibrating a mover composed of a spring and a magnet to the coil, is provided on a washing machine outer frame. The washing machine is constituted of a washing process control part simultaneously and independently detecting the water level inside the outer tank and the vibration of the outer tank on the basis of that and controlling a washing operation.

SOLUTION: A damper for supporting a water tub in a washing machine casing from below includes: a cylinder; oil in a space provided in the cylinder; a piston which is provided at the end of a rod, moves in the cylinder where the oil is sealed in and has a plurality of small holes; a flange provided at the rod and leaving a downward distance with respect to the piston; and a valve movable between the piston and the flange. The piston has at least one hole to pass the oil even if the valve contacts the piston and a notch provided in the radial direction and at the lower part of the piston and at the position of the hole. When the damper extends/contracts a length larger than a predetermined length by the vibration of the water tub in a resonance range during dehydration, damping characteristics are switched so that the damping force increases only when the water tub is moving upward.

SOLUTION: This drum type washing machine is provided with a support shaft supporting a drum with its both ends and having one side formed into a hollow shaft, in washing, the detergent solution which is formed into the high-concentration solution in a detergent supply box is sprayed from the hollow shaft supporting the drum to the laundry in the drum via a water passing tube, and, in rinsing, clean water is sprayed in the same way. The spray method includes to spray the clean water while rotating the drum, moisture the laundry, rotate the drum at a high speed for sufficiently spin-drying. After that, the high-concentration detergent solution is sprayed, while the drum is rotated at such a low speed that the laundry is stuck to the drum inner wall surface by a centrifugal force and prevented from falling. This constitution can efficiently spray the minimum quantity of high-concentration detergent solution, improve the detergency and reduce the amount of water used.
