    • PURPOSE:To independently control a negative pressure generated at a large venturi part by arranging an adjusting screw which controls the sectional area of a negative- pressure passage at a position where the intake flow path of the large venturi part is not disturbed. CONSTITUTION:A means to vary the sectional area of a negative-pressure passage 9 which is opened at a large venturi part 6 formed on the wall surface of an intake path is arranged. Said means consists of a tapped hole which communicates to the negative-pressure passage 9 formed on the shoulder surface on the upstream side of the large venturi part 6 and an adjusting screw 13, and the adjusting screw 13 is adjusted to feed a negative pressure suitable for a negative-pressure utilizing device 15 connected to the negative-pressure passage 9. The constitution described above allows the negative pressure generated at the large venturi part to be controlled, independently of the characteristics of a carburetor and allows the device connected to the negative-pressure passage to operate in a best condition.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent fuel flow from being disordered by fuel vapor produced when a solenoid valve of a feedback carburetor is opened and closed, by disposing the portion where an auxiliary fuel passage opened and closed by said solenoid valve joins a main fuel passage to locate in a main well. CONSTITUTION:A valve 6 actuated by an electromagnetic coil 4 of a feedback carburetor functions to keep the air-fuel ratio at a required value by controlling the fuel flow rate through an auxiliary fuel passage 20 by opening and closing a fuel orifice 7. The auxiliary fuel passage 20 is opened in a main well 2. With such an arrangement, fuel vapor produced when a solenoid valve 6 is opened and closed is introduced into the main well 2 and flows upward therein, so that the vapor does not enter into a fuel passage 12. Therefore, adverse influence by the fuel vapor can be prevented particularly at the time of low- speed operation of an engine.
