摘要： PURPOSE:To output only an explanatory part with respect to a certain retrieval word comprehensively from plural relating documents. CONSTITUTION:A first storage means 5 which stores document information representing a document in which a descriptive part with respect to a certain retrieval word exists and descriptive part information representing the start point and end point of the descriptive part in the document at every retrieval word, and a second storage means 4 which stores the contents of the plural relating documents at every document, respectively are provided, and the document information with respect to an inputted retrieval word and the descriptive part information are retrieved from the first storage means 5, and all the corresponding data are outputted from the second storage means 4, thereby, a purpose described above can be attained.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the concentration of load to a specific computer system that is caused by the inquiry processing without limiting the system operation by associating an optional remote data base with every data base via a hierarchical structure and then setting an access path. SOLUTION: This method/device includes an input device 101, a display device 102, an input controller 103, a display controller 104, a hierarchy management device 105 which manages the data registered in a data base in groups and in a hierarchical structure and also processes the request given from the controller 103 to ask the controller 104 to display the request processing result, etc. In such a constitution, an access route of data is optionally defined to a remote data base 111 and stored in every local data base 110. Then the data are automatically retrieved via the defined access path and the location information is added, and the data are retrieved in parallel out of plural data bases even with absence of the data location information to notify a user of the data location information.
