摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium sulfur battery used in electric power storage or an electric vehicle, a positive container of the sodium-sulfur battery, an alloy for the positive container, and their manufacturing processes. SOLUTION: A nickel base alloy contains Cr, Ni, W, and Mo, and a carbide of at least one element selected from the group comprising Cr, W, Mo is deposited in the nickel base alloy, this nickel base alloy is used in a positive container 2, and this positive container 2 is used in a sodium-sulfur battery. Since the corrosion amount of the positive container 2 is small, the life of the sodium-sulfur battery is lengthened. The alloy used in the positive container 2 has high plastic working ability and high welding ability, and the reliability of the battery is substantially enhanced.

Then, positioning of the wafer 1 is done by means of the microscopic system 3 and the XYtheta table 7 and surface finishing of the front cut face of the first line of the standard element pattern is performed by a grindstone 5 for surface finishing in such a way that curves and strain generated by cutting are corrected. A cut face which is parallel to the standard pattern is thereby formed.

Various metals can be easily bonded to the metallized graphite by soldering or Ni plating, etc. A composite material can be produced by forming the metallized layer on the surface of graphite powder or fiber and dispersing the powder or fiber in Cu, Mg, Al or their alloy or Fe. 摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a tube which can be tightly sealed by putting a tube member and an electrically insulative supporting member into a forming die with material of ceramic powder to integrally form a compact by cold hydrostatic forming and sintering the compact. CONSTITUTION:The material of ceramic powder to be put in a tube member 1 is composed of Al2O3 to which Na2O and Li2O are applied, composition ratio being Na2O of 7.5 to 9.8wt.%, Li2O of 0.4 to 1.2wt.% and the remaining be Al2O3. After tightly putting the powder into the tube member 1 of a forming die, ceramic powder as a supporting member 2 is also put therein. As for the powder, more than kind of MgO or MgAl2O4 are used. Mean particle size of the powder less than 4mum is desirable. Cold hydrostatic forming is conducted after putting the powder into the forming die which is heated in a container of platinum at 1500 to 1700 deg.C for 10 to 20 minutes. Successively, the powder in the forming die is sintered at a temperature less than 1450 deg.C for more than 6 hours. Accordingly, an integrally sintered tube 4 which can be tightly sealed is obtained.
