    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence and continuation of an arc and prevent the breakage of a lamp by bending a pair of inner lead wires to be connected to a filament in opposite directions to each other near a bead, again bending the lead wires in opposite directions, and connecting them to the filament. CONSTITUTION:Inner lead wires 2, 2' are spread and fixed to the whole width of a bead 7, their tips are further spread from the fixed portion, and they are bent in opposite directions at the connection section while the interval between both lead wires 2, 2' is maintained. Tip sections of the inner lead wires 2, 2' are formed into a coil shape, a filament 1 is inserted into it and caulked. The inner lead wire 2' and a coil-shaped tip cut end are faced to the opposite direction to the inner lead wire 2. An anchor 9 is buried near the center section of the bead 7, its tip is bent upward from the paper surface, it is again bent in the opposite direction, then it is fixed to the filament 1. The occurrence and continuation of an arc at the time of an open circuit of a halogen lamp are prevented, and the breakage of the lamp can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a compact light-emitting device emitting both ultraviolet and far infrared efficiently at the same time by constituting both an ultraviolet emitting device and a far infrared emitting device integrally and operating both the devices with a same power supply. CONSTITUTION:Impressing 100 AC voltage on a light-emitting device through its base 6, hot cathodes 3, 3' are heated by means of a starter 7 to cause discharge between 3 and 3'. Making the distance between the hot cathodes 3 and 3' below 10mm generates negative glow from which ultraviolet of mercury resonance line 254nm is emitted and radiates outside through a discharge valve 1. On the other hand, since discharge current of about 0.3A flows through a resistor 9, the resistor 9 becomes high temperature and thereby far infrared emitting material 5 coated on a case 4 is heated to cause far infrared radiation. Since the generation of far infrared radiation utilizes a stater which is nothing but only heat loss in conventional devices, the efficiency of the device as a whole can be enhanced.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a lamp whose color is changeable in an efficient simple manner by changing the film thickness of a part of a dielectric multi-layer provided on the bulb surface of the lamp from the other portions, and thereby providing a visible region with a reflection range with the narrow width of wave length. CONSTITUTION:A lamp is equipped with a filament 1, inner lead wires 2 and 2', molybdenum foils 3 and 3', outer lead wires 4 and 4', a base 5, a quartz bulb 6 and with a bead 7, and a dielectric multi-layer film composed of titanium oxide 8 and of silicon oxide 9 is sintered on the outer surface of the quartz bulb 6. Namely, the surface of a glass bulb is provided with a multi-layer film composed of a transparent body having a refraction factor of light and a low refraction factor so that infra-red rays from the lamp are thereby reflected, and valleys with a refraction factor of 10 to 40% are provided for a visible region. By this constitution, the color of a light source can thereby be changed without increasing the number of the layers for the dielectric multi-layer film to be sintered on the quartz bulb surface for a halogen bulb or a HID lamp, an reduction in efficiency can thereby be concurrently minimized.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a portable cordless discharge lamp device that is good for dirt detection, mark detection, health achievement, sterilization and for smell elimination by forming a low voltage discharge lamp device out of a low voltage discharge lamp generating light of a predetermined range of wavelength, and of a low discharge burning circuit whose power source is a battery. CONSTITUTION:In a soft glass tube 10 of diameter 15mm, length 50mm, a hot cathode 12 composed of a tungsten coil to which applied an electron emission material whose primary component is (Ba, Sr, Ca)O, and an anode 13 arranged in the vicinity of this, are provided. For discharge gas, 5Torr of argon and mercury are sealed in, and to the inner surface of the glass tube 10, a fluorescent material BaSi2O5:Pb by which mercury spectrum of 254nm generated by the discharge is converted into the light of 200-400nm, is applied. When the interval between the cathode 12 and the anode 13 is defined as small as possible, and the anode 13 is designed to enter negative glow, discharge voltage is drastically reduced, whereby low voltage discharge is possible without heating the cathode 12 from the outside, and the efficiency is improved. A battery case 6 is provided in a reflecting mirror 3 in a discharge lamp case 4.
