摘要： PURPOSE:To decrease starting torque by completely preventing the whole range between a sheat liner and guide vane systems from leaking fluid. CONSTITUTION:A through groove 21 is provided in the medium portion of a sheet liner that corresponds to the entire closure position of the guide vane between adjacent guide vane systems 6, and a metallic seal piece 22 and a back-up member 23 are held by a seal keeper plate 24 and a bolt 25 therein. The head portion of the piece 22 contacts with the end surface of a guide vane 2 when the vane 2 is entirely closed. A non-through groove 26 is formed in the portion between the both ends of the groove 21 and a stem 6 of the sheet liner 7, and the extension 27 of the piece 22 and that of plate 24 are set therein. The portion 27 is energized to vane 2 side from backward thereof by an elastic seal member 29 held in a V-groove 28 formed in the groove 26.

摘要： PURPOSE:To surely lubricate a seal ring and prevent burning even when the water feed quantity is small by feeding water to an inner periphery side gap formed by a rotary shaft and a seal case and a flange. CONSTITUTION:Water feeding means 9a, 9b and 13 feeding water to an inner periphery side gap 10 formed by a rotary shaft 1 and a seal case 5 and a flange 3 are provided on the inner periphery side of a seal ring 4. When water is fed to such a shaft seal device through a water feed pipe 9a, water is filled in the inner periphery side gap 10 on the inner periphery side of the seal ring 4, part of it lubricates the sliding face of the seal ring 4 and then is leaked to the outside of the seal ring 4, but this quantity is slight, thus the inner periph ery side gap 10 is invariably filled with water. Even if the water feed quantity is small, there is no fear of burning due to water exhaustion. Since water is fed to the inner periphery side of the seal ring 4, the centrifugal force is in creased and the lubricating water quantity is increased as the rotation speed is increased. The stable sliding characteristic is obtained with a small water feed quantity, and the burning of the seal ring can be prevented.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a fluid to be measured from flowing into the sensor-protecting body and enable a sensor to be mounted and dismounted without stopping the operation and without removing the running water flow at the measuring part, by employing a sensor-protecting body having a double structure, and making the outer and inner tubes move relatively to each other. CONSTITUTION:The inner tube 42 is axially movably inserted into the outer tube 40 by means of a screw 44. A water-introducing hole 46 is provided at the end of the outer tube 40. Water-introducing holes 48 are provoded in the side wall of the inner tube 42. Inside the inner tube 42, a temperature-measuring sensor 52 is inserted. When temperature is measured, with the sensor 52 inserted inside the inner tube 42, the inner tube 42 is relatively moved toward the side of the remoter surface 68 from the running water by means of the screw 44 so that the end of the inner tube 42 separates from the water-introducing hole 46 in the outer tube 40. Thereby, the water to be measured passes through the water-introducing hole 44, an air gap 50 and the water-introducing holes 48 and reaches the sensor 52.

If the head is unbalanced with the self-sealing, the water sealing face of the metal is adjusted and surface pressure is thereby adjusted to prevent leakage.

Further, the most of sediment particles are checked with the outer peripheral part of the member 3B, and high pressure water containing very small particles passes through very narrow clearance of the sealing surface for leaking out in full line arrow mark direction.
