    • PURPOSE:To protect equipment from the breakage due to the erosion, abrasion, corrosion, etc. by attaching a ceramics sintered body which possesses the special material characteristics by an organic adhesive onto the contact surface with the high speed and high pressure fluid such as water and steam of the basic member of the equipment. CONSTITUTION:A ceramic sintered body 1 which possesses the material characteristic represented by (tensile strength) /(2XYoung's modulus) of 200 MPaX10 or more and a hardness of Hv 1,400 or more is attached by an organic adhesive 3 onto a contact surface with the high speed high pressure fluid such as water and steam of the basic member 2 of equipment, and the contact part with the high speed and high pressure fluid or air in the solidified part of the above- described adhesive is sealed by a paint 4 which possesses water repulsion performance and waterproofness. By this ceramics sintered body, the erosion, abrasion and corrosion due to the passing of fluid are prevented. Further, the high polymeric adhesive resin suppresses the reduction of the adhesion strength generated by the adsorption of moisture through the covering by the water repulsive resin.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a ceramic sintered body usable at ambient temperature under bad environment and capable of firmly adhering by molding ceramics/ ceramics-carbon fiber composite, sintering the resultant molded article in vacuum or inert gas and burning carbon fiber. CONSTITUTION:A ceramics/ceramics-carbon fiber composite is molded and sintered in vacuum or inert gas and then the carbon fiber is burned by heating in atmosphere to provide the porous aimed sintered compact. The ceramics have various characteristics lacking in metal and plastics. But the range usable in only ceramics is few and limited to small component. In a case of large scale, the ceramics must be used in joining to metals. Since pores formed on bonded surface in the above-mentioned production are three-dimensionally crossed each other, adhesive is penetrated into the inside of the pores and adhesion of adhesive with ceramics or metals, etc., are made firm. Thereby bonding properties of the component having bonded ceramics and used under bad environment can be remarkably improved.

    • PURPOSE:To spread the function range of a protecting device by operating the first protecting device which does not cut a weak point pin in the range starting from the perfect opening of a guide vane to a certain opening degree and operating the second protecting device which cuts the weak point pin in the range over the above-described range. CONSTITUTION:An upper guide vane lever 6A and a lower guide vane lever 6B are connected by a weak point pin 4. When an obstacle nipped by a guide vane 8 is smaller than the shift-enable range L of a connecting pin 13, the connecting pin 13 is pushed back by the stability force of a spring 11, and the guide vane 8 returns to a synchronization position. When the obstacle is larger than the shift-enable range L, the connecting pin 13 shifts up to the contact with a suppressing block 12, and when the larger operation force is applied, the weak point pin 4 is cut, and the upper guide vane lever 6A is turned. Thus, the captioned protecting device can be operated over the whole range of the guide vane operation.
