    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate thermal insulating members which are used for prevention of a dew formation of a liquid crystal operating part, reduce a cost and prevent a visibility of the liquid crystal display from being reduced by a method wherein the operating part having a liquid crystal display is positioned at an upper part of an evaporator. SOLUTION: An operating part in a separate type air conditioner is integrally constituted with an indoor device. This device has such a constitution that an operating part 1 having a liquid crystal displaying device is positioned at an upstream side of an evaporator 2. With such an arrangement as above, even in the case of cooling operation, the rear surface of the operating part 1 is not exposed to cold air after being heat exchanged, so that there is no possibility that an occurrence of dew formation to be caused by a temperature difference between a front part and a rear surface of the operating part is generated. Thus, it is possible to perform a dew formation preventing design and save a test expenditure and a thermal insulating member expenditure. In addition, the central part of the device is bulged out and an operating part 1 having a liquid crystal display is arranged at an upper part of the bulged-out section, resulting in that the liquid crystal displaying part is directed upward, its face approaches orthogonally in respect to the sight lien of a person and his visibility can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To achieve the optimization of the degree of superheating of a refrigerating cycle in the refrigerating cycle incorporating an electric expansion valve as decompressor of a room machine. CONSTITUTION:A outdoor unit 1 is provided having a compressor 2, a outdoor heat exchanger 4 and an outdoor decompressor 21 and a room unit 8 having an electric expansion valve 10 and a room heat exchanger 9. A controller is provided to control the electric expansion valve 10. In the cooling operation, the opening of the electric expansion valve 10 is computed or controlled with the controller so that it varies by steps according to the temperature of a high temperature/high pressure gas to be discharged from a compressor 2 to optimize the degree of superheating of a refrigerant at an outlet of the room heat exchanger 9 and a liquid refrigerant condensed and liquefied with the outdoor heat exchanger 4 is decompressed with an outdoor decompressor 21 and the electronic expansion valve 10 having the opening decided. This enables the simplification of a control system of the electronic expansion valve thereby shortening a development term of the control system while enabling the stabilization of a refrigerating cycle quickly.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the two packing materials conventionally used between each air conditioner to one when the air conditioners are stacked in order to contrive energy conservation by a method wherein each individual packing material is provided with a recess part in each of the upper and lower surfaces conforming with the lower and upper parts of the air conditioner, respectively. CONSTITUTION:A packing material 1 for use in packing an air conditioner 2 is provided with a recess part 3a at its upper part for conforming with the lower part of the air conditioner 2 and a recess part 3b at the lower part thereof for conforming with the upper part of the air conditioner 2. When the air conditioners 2 are stacked in a plurality of tiers, the lower part of the air conditioner 2 is fitted into an upper recess part 1a of the lowest packing material 1, a lower recess part 1b of another packing material is fitted over the upper part of the air conditioner 2 and the lower part of another air conditioner 2 is fitted into an upper recess part 1a thereof. By laying the air conditioners, one upon another, in a repeated manner, the air conditioners can be stacked in several tiers and in this way the two packing materials 1 conventionally used between each air conditioner 2 can be decreased to one, thereby realizing resource conservation.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the area of spider on the opposite side of a blade tip and reduce noise in a rivet connection delta wing propeller fan for a heat exchanger of air in an air conditioner by providing a second rivet on the blade tip side of a straight line connecting a first rivet to the center of rotation. CONSTITUTION:The length (l) of a blade is formed longer than the radius (r) of outer circumference for reducing noise, and the distance between a first rivet 3 and the center of rotation is instituted to be over 90% of the distance between the blade tip 5 and the first rivet 3 for reducing stress on a rivet connection part. A second rivet 4 is positioned on the blade tip 5 side of a straight line connecting the first rivet 3 to the center of rotation. The load transmitting point from a blade 1 to a spider 2 is on the middle point between the first rivet 3 and the second rivet 4, and hence stress on the root part of the spider is mitigated. On the opposite side against the blade tip of the center line 7 of the root of spider, the area of spider is reduced for reducing centrifugal force, and they are connected together with two rivets. On the blade tip side, they are connected with three rivets containing rivets 3, 4. Hereby, stress is reduced and the blade length is enlarged to reduce noise.
