    • PURPOSE:To avoid the waste of lines that reception error is generated due to deficiency in a reception buffer when most of message is sent by allowing each reception station to ensure the reception buffer required for message reception in the initial stage of communication. CONSTITUTION:When a message processed as a capsule is sent while being divided into plural segments 4, a message length display identifier 2 is included in an information field of a FIRST minipacket. Then a reception station being the destination of the minipacket discriminates whether or not an idle buffer required for the reception of all segments exists and whether or not the reception of a message is enabled is informed to an outgoing station via an answer display identifier field. When the reception station can secure a buffer required for the message reception, the minipacket from one and same outgoing station arrived later is received one after another without reaching the rejection of reception due to the deficient buffer.

Frames consisting of plural channels are generated repeatedly in one of node devices 2 at least and are transmitted to the transmission line 1. The frame is constituted with a synchronizing area X and an information communication area Y, and for example, 4 channels CHs are assigned to the area X, and left CHs are used as the information communication area, and each CH consists of 10 bits. CHs in the frame include bits for data information transmission and bits for data transmission control, and each node device 2 transmits control information together with data information through these CHs.

When the maximum number is received by the connection unit which transmitted it, the connection unit transmits the control signal reporting this receiving to bus 3 to set nodes of other connection units to slaves. When the control signal has circuited once through bus 3, the node which transmitted it is set to the master, thus initializing the network system.
