摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register image data into an electronic filing device at a high speed without requiring much labor and time by automatically extracting a character keyword from vector data generated by a CAD system when converting these vector data to the image data for the electronic filing device. SOLUTION: A data converter 12 is composed of a vector interface 21 for receiving data from a CAD 11, RAM 22 for data conversion for converting the vector data received by the vector interface 21 to raster data and storing these data, raster interface 23 for sending the image data and keyword to an electronic file 13 after data conversion, keyword RAM 24 for storing the extracted keyword, and controller 25 for converting the vector data to the raster data while controlling the data converter 12. Then, in the case of converting the vector data to the raster data by inputting a vector data file, the content of a file coincident with attribute conditions is defined as a keyword and the data are retrieved by this keyword.

Thus, it is not required for the operator to discriminate the type of a document and to designate the kind of the inputted picture data and the conversion method to the binary picture data. Furthermore, the speed of the picture input processing is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of the picture quality of the output picture of a picture processor by folding up plural filters of different bands and dither pictures and selecting the filters from the pattern feature of the dither picture in a reference window, and then, selecting one out of plural intermediate tone outputs calculated by using the plural filters on the basis of the selected result of the filter. CONSTITUTION:Multi-level picture data are calculated at every picture element by calculating sum of products of filters in accordance with a nearby dither picture and visual characteristic of human beings. When the frequency of occurrence of black-and-white picture elements is extremely biased, granular noise generating points can be suppressed by switching the coefficient of a filter in accordance with the distributed state of black and white. The switching of the coefficient can be performed effectively with a simple constitution by using the number of white picture elements in a window referred to at the time of reproducing an intermediated tone picture. Therefore, highquality output pictures are obtained irrespective of the dither system performed at the time of binarization.

CONSTITUTION:A color scanner 100 reads a document color picture, extracts the picture as an RGB multi-value digital data and only a luminance data of a picture is outputted to a data input section 200 as brightness information. The input section 200 binarizes the data and stores the result tentatively in frame memories 310-340. The stored data is converted into a mode suitable for the input of a display section 500 and displayed by the recording form mode designated by an input mode designation section 150 at a data conversion section 400. Thus, the binary data in the memories 310-340 is coded and stored by a data storage section 600. Thus, the color and monochroic picture are stored efficiently and high coding efficiency picture processing is attained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To easily correct a registered image by printing out and correcting an image which is registered on the image file device, and then registering the image on the electronic file device again. CONSTITUTION:Title information which is added when an image is registered is inputted on a keyboard 2 to retrieve image information through an optical disk controller 9. A data expanding circuit 11 expands the information, develops it into black-and-white binary information, and displays it on a display part 6. Then the displayed image is printed out on a printer 15 and corrected by addition, etc., and then the image is inputted to a scanner 1 again and displayed on the display part 6 through a binary-coding circuit 7 similarly to the registration of an original image. This image is confirmed and then registered again. Consequently, the correction of the registered image is facilitated. Further, its pattern is matched with the pattern of the image before the correction and the image of only the corrected part and its periphery is substituted and registered to prevent the image from deteriorating.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a restored image by inputting a multilevel picture image simultaneously with a binary image when an original image is inputted, and specifying density at the time of display/printing operation according to the image information on the multilevel picture image. CONSTITUTION:When an image is inputted from a scanner, the multilevel information is inputted by using a multilevel information control circuit 5 while the image is converted into a black-and-white binary information by a scanner control circuit 4. The circuit 5 corrects the illuminance of the analog waveform and slices the waveform with predetermined slice levels to convert the waveform into the many-valued information. The binary information and multilevel information are image-compressed by an image compressing and restoring circuit 7 and linked with tile information which is inputted on a keyboard 1, and the resulting information is written on an optical disk. Consequently, when a title is specified, multilevel information can be retrieved by indicating the multilevel information and the quality of the restored image at a print part 14 is improved.
