摘要： PURPOSE:To easily vary a beam interval by composing the beam position controller of 1st and 2nd photodetectors, and arranging plural 2nd photodetectors and switching beam positions. CONSTITUTION:The upper half of a figure is a servo control circuit which controls a beam 1, which is held halfway between the 1st photodetectors 31 and 32. The lower half of the figure is a servo control which controls a beam 2 and consists of five 2nd photodetectors 51 - 55. The respective intervals of the detectors 51 - 55 are made equal to the difference between beam intervals P1 from the 1st photodetector 31. The outputs the photodetectors 51 - 55 are converted by a converter 21 into voltages, which are inputted to sum output devices 56 - 59; and the signals are selected by a control switch 60 and fed back to a difference output device 61. At this time, the control switch 60 performs switching to the outputs of sum output devices 56 and 58, and 57 and 59 with a switching signal 61 and the signal from a difference output device 23 is passed through an amplifier 27 to hold a beam 2 on the photodetector by moving a movable reflector 6.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of disturbance such as temperature variation and vibration providing an oscillator and a control switch in a beam position control circuit. CONSTITUTION:The oscillator 8 is oscillated with an initializing signal to move movable reflectors 4a and 4b, and thus beams 5a and 5b are deflected and become easy to strike a photodetector, which detects the beams 5a and 5b to perform servo control. Phase advancing circuits 33 and 34 which compensates the phase delay in sample holding circuits 35 and 36 are provided to compensated the phase delay. Position errors of the individual detectors and characteristic errors in manufacture are adjusted by voltage adjusting means 27 and 28, so beam positions can accurately by adjusted. The phase delay circuits 35 and 36 for a low frequency range are provided to improve the gain in the low frequency range, so shifts of the beam positions can be suppressed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To eliminate the misalignment for a printing start by calibrating a signal transfer time difference between each signal line caused by a propagation delay by a delaying circuit provided on each printing signal line and adjusting the transfer time, in a laser beam printer using plural light sources. CONSTITUTION:When a beam detector 7 is scanned by a laser light, a reference signal from the detector 7 is received by a control device 1, and a printing signal A and a printing signal B are sent out simultaneously to a signal line 9 and 10, respectively. In this case, the signal A and B generate a time difference (t) by a propagation delay of the respective signal lines, but allowed to reach as they are a delaying circuit 2 and 3, respectively. In this case, when the delaying circuit is set in advance so that the quicker signal is delayed by the time difference (t), the time difference between each signal is negated by passing through the delaying circuit, and the signals are sent out simultaneously to signal lines C, D again. Accordingly, laser devices 4, 5 are driven simultaneously, and laser beams 13, 14 are also emitted simultaneously. In such a way, the misalignment for a printing start on the surface of a drum 8 is eliminated.

A drain hole 34 provided at the upper part of the body 1 is closed with a rubber cover 22. At this time, a guide pin 2 has not yet moved on the upper part of the nozzle head.

When a bolt 17 is released from a side pin 25 under the condition that the recording medium 19 is fixed between the main stopping section 16 and hook 20, it is possible to remove the sub-stopping section 18 and recording medium 19 from the recorder body.

It is necessary to determine whether or not the distance between the carriages 2 and 4 is correct,before starting the printing. An MPU 32 calculates the distance l3 over which the carriage 2 is moved, and obtains the distance lx=l2-l3 between the carriages 2, 4 from the distance l3 and the distance l2 (known) between the sensors 12 and 14.

Further, if it shifts upward on the contrary, the preset value is set to a value larger than 28 with the digital switch 10 and the lower resistors among the heating resistors on the thermal head 5 are used.

A mechanism 14 for removing redundant residual ink deposited to a portion in the vicinity of an ink ejection nozzle is provided in the base section 4. When the arm section 2 is moved to a second moving direction on the way of the printing, the removing of the residual ink is executed.
