The impedance converter has a plurality of transmission lines different by electric length and is capable of switching connection to one of transmission lines in accordance with a frequency of an input signal. In the slave station 50, a photoelectric conversion section 51 converts the optical signal through the optical fiber 30 into an electric signal, a branching filter 52 divides the electric signal into an intermediate frequency signal and a local frequency signal, a mixer 55 converts the frequency by using the respective signals, and the resulting signal is amplified by an amplifier section and transmitted.
