    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dissolve a problem wherein collapse of heading in a completely self standing state is not prevented from occurring though, when an underground obstacle is cut, the cutting reaction force of the underground obstacle is exerted on the peripheral ground of an obstacle and there is a fear of the peripheral ground being collapsed, and to prevent the occurrence of a fear, a cylindrical member is protruded forward. SOLUTION: A shield excavator is oscillatorily supported in a shield body 1 by a swing jack and protruded from the mounting surface of a cutter head 2 by a forced jack. In this case, an underground obstacle is removed by a cylindrical excavator 12 comprising an outer cylinder 6 to support a peripheral ground, and a cutter arranged at the tip surface of the outer cylinder 6. The working speed of the forced jack is decided to a value, at which an excessive cutting force is not exerted on the peripheral ground of the underground obstacle, based on a detecting result for drive torque of a cutter.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exactly grasp real consumption amount and generate good improved soil by comparing replenishing amount of a soil improving material with consumption amount thereof. SOLUTION: A residual amount level sensor 12 is provided in a supply device 5, and when the soil improving material in the supply device 5 is decreased to a predetermined residual amount level L, the decreased amount is replenished and replenishing amount A is input to a replenishing amount input device 14. A controller 15 allows earth and sand and the soil improving material to mix in a predetermined ratio by calculating the consumption amount while the soil improving material is being supplied from the supply device 5 to earth and sand on a conveyer 4. In this case, the controller 15 corrects an error of consumption amount B by comparing a input value of the replenishing amount A with calculated consumption amount B every time when the soil improving material is decreased to the residual amount level L. Accordingly, the consumption amount B of the soil improving material is calculated with high accuracy and a mixing ratio of the rail improving material and the earth and sand is exactly adjusted.
