    • PURPOSE:To detect a state of exfoliation or the like inside IC without necessitating skill, by generating contour data by subjecting smoothed measured data or display data to secondary differentiation, and by obtaining a clear image by adjusting the gain of an echo signal or the focus of a probe. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic flaw detecting part 6 transmits a transmission pulse to a probe 4, receives an echo signal from a sample 1 and sends it to a peak detecting part 7. The detecting part 7 extracts a peak value of a received echo, subjects it to A/D conversion 8 and then sends the converted value to a measured data processing device 16. After storing the sent data in a memory 14e, MPU 9 executes an image smoothing processing program 14a to remove noise and generates display data on a smoothed image. In succession, it executes an edge emphasizing processing program 14b and extracts the contour of the display data by Laplacian (secondary differentiation) so as to emphasize an edge. When a clear image is not obtained, adjustment can be executed simply by adjusting a gain or a focus. Then, an inspecting region binary-coding processing program 14c is executed, the area of a place of exfoliation is calculated and the quality of the sample is determined.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an image distortion which is generated due to a constant- speed scanning by enabling an ultrasonic wave to be transmitted at a scanning position which is ahead by approximately 1/2 of a time from transmission to reception and then an echo from a specimen to be received at a scanning position after approximately 1/2 of a time at each measurement-point position. CONSTITUTION:After focusing of a probe 3 is completed, a delay time T equivalent to a time t =2L/V (L; distance. V; sound speed) from transmission of an ultrasonic wave to its reception and a data at each measurement point of a specimen 22 is sampled by a constant-speed plane scanning. When a measurement point A is taken as an example, the probe 3 receives an echo at the measurement point A of the ultrasonic wave which is transmitted at T ( /2) time before reaching the measurement point A before reaching the measurement point A. Therefore, a measurement signal which is actually obtained after A/D conversion agrees with the measurement point A and a sampling positions of reciprocating measurement data do not deviate when the probe 3 performs a reciprocating scanning, thus preventing an image from being distorted.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to check the curing states of various kinds of resins without destruction readily, by measuring the ratio between the height of the echo of the reflected wave from the surface of the resin and the height of the echo of the reflected wave from the bottom surface of the resin. CONSTITUTION:An ultrasonic wave is projected to a resin 1 from a probe 3. The ultrasonic wave is inputted into a case 2. The wave reaches a boundary plane 4 between the inner surface of a case 2 and the surface of the resin 1 through the thickness of the case 2. A part of the wave is reflected, and the remaining part is inputted into the resin 1. The reflected wave 5 is received with the probe 3 and further received in a flaw detector as an S echo. The ultrasonic wave, which is inputted into the resin 1, is propagated in the resin and reaches a boundary plane 6 between the inner surface of the case 2 and the bottom surface of the resin 1. The most part of the wave is reflected from the boundary plane 6. The reflected wave is received in the flaw detector as a B echo through the probe 3. A ratio h1/h2 between the heights of both echoes, where h1 is the height of the received S echo and h2 is the height of the B echo, is obtained. Then correlation between the ratio h1/h2 and the mixing ratio of a curing agent, which is mixed in the resin 1, is obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mount a stopper mechanism for a spindle without forming an overhanging part for outward movement at a bracket whose shaft is connected so as to make free rotation. SOLUTION: Brackets 44R, 44L vertically-formed on a base which constitutes a swing post, are formed with drilled shaft penetrating holes 45R, 45L passing through a spindle 46. A boss part 47 which has bushes 48 extended from lower boom of a boom, is fitted onto the spindle 46 so as to make free rotation. To provide a stopper means for the spindle 46, a pin penetrating hole 46a is drilled near the edge of one end of the spindle 46 so as to penetrate in the orthogonal direction to the axial line. In the bracket 44L on one side, a bottomed pin inserting hole 52 is drilled to a prescribed position beyond the shaft penetrating hole 45R from the top end. The pin inserting hole 52 is inserted from the entrance part 52a side of the pin inserting hole 52 with the pin inserting part 52 disposed in line with the pin penetrating hole 46a, and a plug 53 is screwed in the entrance part 52a.
