    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable cord switch and a pressure sensing device having a sensing region extended to the tip of the cord switch that can surely capture the on/off-action, and an error action is eliminated therefrom by allowing no contact between electrodes caused by bending, and having accurate detection ability for pressure from every direction.
      SOLUTION: The cord switch 1 has at least two electric wires 2 each having a circular cross section in which each wires has an electrical conductive rubber layer or an electrical conductive plastic layer formed on the outer periphery of the metal conductive wire. The wires are arranged spirally in the length direction along the inner face of a hollow insulator 3 having a circular cross section, and the hollow insulator comprises restoring rubber or restoring plastic in a state that they are not mutually contacted each other and is fixed to the insulator 3 in a state of protruding toward the inside.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified fluororesin improved in wear resistance, creep resistance and heat stability at high temperatures by irradiating an ionized radiation to a fluororesin in the state of being heated at a temperature not lower than the melting point in the presence of a modifier under an atmosphere of an oxygen-containing inert gas. SOLUTION: A fluororesin of at least one kind selected from tetrafluoroethylene-based polymers, tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkylvinylether)- based copolymers and tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymers is modified by irradiating an ionized radiation in an exposed dose of 0.1 KGy to 10 MGy in the state of being heated at a temperature higher by 10 to 30 deg.C than the melting point of said fluororesin under an atmosphere of an inert gas having an oxygen concentration of 10 Torr or less in the presence of a modifier selected from hydrogen, fluorine and fluorocompounds. This modifying operation may be carried out either for a fluororesin molded article or for the fluororesin powder which modified powder is thereafter mechanically pulverized into particulates and then pressure-molded to give a fluororesin molded article.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a printed circuit laminated board to be improved in high frequency and mechanical characteristics at a high temperature by a method, wherein a metal layer is formed on an insulating base provided with at least as modified fluororesin layer which is specific in heat of crystallization and melting point. SOLUTION: PTFE, PFA, FEP or the like are utilized as fluororesins, and the physical properties of the modified fluororesin are prescribed with the heat of crystallization being 40 J/g or low, and a melting point being 325 deg.C or below. That is, a modified PTFE film is formed through a manner where a PTFE film 0.5 mm in thickness is irradiated so that an electron beam 100 Kgy in dose to form a modified PTFE film. Then, the surfaces of the modified PTFE film is treated with a sodium/naphthalene solution to be adhesive. A surface- roughened copper foil (35 μm), a modified PTFE film (0.5 mm), a PTFE impregnated glass cloth (60 μm), a modified PTFE film (0.5 mm), and a surface- roughened copper foil (35 μm) are successively stacked into a laminate, and the laminate is inserted into a hot press and pressurized and heated at 360 deg.C for 10 minutes and a printed circuit laminated board is formed.

A sliding member comprises a fluorine resin molded article containing 10-90 wt.% of this modified fluorine resin and 90-10 wt.% of an unmodified fluorine resin. The fluorine resin includes tetrafluoroethylene-based polymers, tetrafluoroethylene/perfluoro(alkylvinylether)-based copolymers and the like. The ionizing radiation includes γ-ray, electron ray, x-ray, neutron ray, high energy ion and the like.

SOLUTION: A modified fluoroplastic composite material is characterized by that modified fluoroplastic with crystallization calorie of 40 J/g or less and an m.p. of 325 deg.C or lower is compounded with other member such as a metal, ceramic, rubber, a resin or the like.
