Further, the electrolytic cell holds an upwelling flow generator. In addition, water treatment using the electrolytic cell is performed, thereby the sterilization effect for bacteria or the like is acquired, the scale of an organic matter base is deposited near the positive electrode, the scale of a metal can be deposited near the negative electrode, and thereby the water treatment apparatus can respond to various treated water.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyzer for waste oil regeneration apparatus by which a cutting liquid, that is used in a machining site, can be regenerated by removing fine impurities and metal powder therefrom.
      SOLUTION: The electrolyzer includes a vessel containing waste oil, plus electrodes 1 and minus electrodes 2 disposed in the vessel, and a power source applying high voltage to the electrodes. The plus electrodes are formed of stainless steel plates, and include a plurality of openings 1b having serrate protrusions 1c on upper and lower sides, while the facing minus electrodes are formed of stainless steel plates. The plus electrodes and minus electrodes are disposed in a casing with a given space, a high voltage of at least ≥6,000 V is applied between both electrodes, to attract contaminant in the waste oil contained in the vessel to the minus electrodes.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for recycling a waste oil by removing fine impurities, metallic powder, etc. contained in machining liquids used in machining sites, engine oils used in vehicles, etc., and, optionally, circulating recycled machining oil to the machine tool side, and to provide a waste oil recycling method using the apparatus.
      SOLUTION: The waste oil recycling apparatus comprises a waste oil container, a high-electric field-side electrode 1 and a contaminant-accumulating-side electrode 2, and a power source 3 for generating high electric field between both of the above electrodes. This apparatus works as follows: High electric field is generated between the above electrodes to accumulate contaminants in the waste oil on the contaminant-accumulating-side electrode. Using this apparatus, contaminants in waste oil are accumulated on the surface of the electrode 2 by generating high electric field in the waste oil, enabling the waste oil to be nearly completely recycled to its original state. The waste oil recycling method is applicable to all kinds of industrial oil including edible oil, engine oil and machine tool machining oil.
