摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with the payment of a large amount without increasing the capacity of a storage box for denomination by preparing a 1st processing mode where the excessive denomination paper moneys are sent to a bundling part to be bundled there, a 2nd processing mode where the paper moneys of a single denomination is directly sent to the bundling part to be bundled there with no intervention of the denomination-based storage boxes, and a selection means which selects both processing modes. SOLUTION: In a payment mode, the paper moneys of various denominations are put into a payment port 3 and at the same time a 1st or 2nd processing mode is selected. When the 1st processing mode is selected, the supplied paper moneys are discriminated at a discrimination part 9 in regard to the denominations, genuineness, impairment, etc., and sent to a bundled paper money accumulation part 7 via a branch part 13 and a both-side inverting part 12 and then the branch parts 14 and 17 and a carrier path 16 respectively. When a prescribed number of sheets of paper money are commuted at the part 7, these paper moneys are sent to a paper money binding part 31 and bonded there by tapes. In the 2nd processing mode, the 10,000-yen paper moneys are accumulated at the part 7 and sent to the part 31 to be bundled there.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money(PM) recovering processor having efficient bundling and recovery. SOLUTION: In the case of bundling damaged PMs stored in a storage in the mixed states of various money sorts, the PMs of money sorts other than a money sort to be bundled and fractional PMs are stored in temporary holding parts 201 to 203, 207 and PMs to be preferentially bundled are bundled through plural shaping parts 107a, 108b and a bundling part 108. Thereby bundling operation can be quickly executed from the damaged PM storage storing damaged PMs in the mixed state of various money sorts without requiring operator's operation. At the end of bundling of damaged PMs, fractional PMs are stacked in the temporary holding parts to be extracted from the external in each money sort and an operator can open a door and easily recover the fractional PMs, so that the efficiency of recovery can be sharply improved.

SOLUTION: After a small rest detecting means 214 confirms that there are remaining bundles of paper money left in bill storage parts 204 to 206 by a sufficient quantity which is large enough for bundling, the stored paper money is paid off by bundle units and bundled by a bundling part 108, so bills left after the bundling process are always less than the number of a bundle unit, so the collection efficiency is improved and the funds can efficeintly be utilized. Further, only bundling units are sent to the bundling part, so it is never necessary to take a fractional number of bills out of the bundling part, and the operator's intervention is unnecessary.
