    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure which prevents at low cost a deviation from occurring in a machining position on one side and the other side, in a laser beam machining apparatus for machining both sides of a workpiece. SOLUTION: The laser beam machining apparatus 1 includes a laser oscillator 10 and a pair of reflecting mirrors 12a, 12b. The laser oscillator 10 emits a laser beam having two optical paths comprising emission optical paths L1a, L1b without being displaced. The reflecting mirrors 12a, 12b each reflects the laser beams emitted by the laser oscillator 10 so as to irradiate the machining face of an FFC 20 with the beams. Then, in a front view, the laser oscillator 10 emits the two laser beams symmetrically with respect to the axis of symmetry (a).     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for welding conductors by which normal/defective condition of welding can be accurately determined by precisely measuring an electric resistance value of a weld zone between conductors. SOLUTION: In the method for welding conductors, a welding zone H between a superposed copper foil 100 and a connection terminal 200 is welded electrically conductively by means of a pair of resistance welding mechanisms 10 including a first electrode 20 for pressing the weld zone H to the copper foil 100 from the outer side and a second electrode 30 for pressing it to the connection terminal 200 from the lower side. In the method, there are implemented a welding step S2 for welding the weld zone H, a post-welding-resistance-value measuring step S3 that measures the electric resistance value R of the weld zone H by energizing an electric resistance value measuring mechanism 40, and a determining step S4 that compares the measured electric resistance value R to a reference value and determines the normal/defective condition of the welding based on the comparison result.
