    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin boot for a constant velocity joint, securing sealing performance without separately incorporating a seal member, maintaining stable sealing performance for a long term and maintaining sufficient sealing performance even when using a low-priced fastening member.
      SOLUTION: The resin boot for the constant velocity joint includes a first annular end P1 fixed to a shaft part 2a of the constant velocity joint 2, a second annular end P3 fixed to a housing 2b of the constant velocity joint and an annular bellows P2 formed between the first end and the second end and has a first fastening part 6a for installing the ring-shaped fastening member to an outer periphery of the first end, and the first end is fixed to the shaft part of the constant velocity joint with the first fastening part fastened by the fastening member 4a. An elastic layer 22a for closely contacting with an outer peripheral surface 2s of the shaft part is integrally provided on an inner peripheral surface as of the first fastening part along a circumferential direction and the elastic layer is set to have a lower hardness than the first end.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing structure simply enhancing at a low cost the sealing performance between a resin boot and a shaft or outer case of a constant velocity joint even in the atmosphere where the temperature goes high and low repeatedly, and maintaining the sealing performance for a long period of time. SOLUTION: The sealing structure is formed between the minor diametric end P1 of the boot 4 and the shaft 2a of the constant velocity joint 2 in the condition that the end P1 is fastened to the shaft 2a by a fastening member 6, wherein the minor diametric end is furnished with a projecting seal 10 continued along the internal surface Ps of the region to be fastened by the fastening member and protruded toward the center, while at lease one of the internal surface of the minor diametric end and the peripheral surface of the shaft is provided with an accommodation space 12 where the projecting seal is accommodated while being curved due to elastic deformation in the condition that the minor diametric end is fastened to the shaft, and the projecting seal in the accommodation space is elastically deformable owing to a thermal expansion or contraction while being in pressure contact with the shaft.
