    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling state detecting device suitably calculating a rate of traveling wherein adverse influence to environment is reduced. SOLUTION: An on-vehicle machine 10 includes an environment operation diagnosis part 21 for detecting the load state of a vehicle, and an environment operation scoring part 22 for calculating the rate wherein the vehicle travels in the prescribed load state with respect to the whole traveling route of the vehicle based on the load state of the vehicle detected by the environment operation diagnosis part 21. The environment operation scoring part 22 removes the predetermined traveling route of the scene which is detected by the environment operation diagnosis part 21 from the whole traveling route of the vehicle, and calculates the rate wherein the vehicle travels in the prescribed load state. Thus, traveling on a congested road where the traveling speed is low and an expressway where the traveling speed is high is removed, and the rate wherein the vehicle travels in the prescribed load state such as eco-traveling is calculated, and the rate of an effort of a driver in eco-traveling with the reduced adverse influence to the environment can be suitably calculated.
