In addition, the locking portion 56 of the step retainer 16 enclosed inside a housing portion 52 is locked together to a locking groove 46 formed in a shaft portion 36 with the shaft portion 36 inserted into the inside of the housing portion 52, thus realizing thinning of the vehicle equipment fixture 10 like a screw-type one. This ensures a large room in a cabin.
