The receiving side unifies receiving processes of traffic data of different data length by determining the receiving buffer size from information of data length 12. When converting the code of received data, the converting process is made efficient by information of the data category identifier 13 and data length 14.

    • PURPOSE:To decrease the number of expensive junction lines, by providing a repeating device between each detector and controller of plural exchange device. CONSTITUTION:The traffic information of an exchange device 3 which is detected by a detector 7 is transferred to a controller 9 via a repeating device 10. The controller 9 transmits the originating control information to the device 10 to process the traffic information and to control the originating. When the device 10 receives the outgoing control from the controller 9, the originating control information is transferred to each controller 8 contained in the device 10. The controller 8 delivers an originating control indication to the device 3. In such a constitution, it is just required to connect the junction line between the controller 9 and a device 7 and the controller 8 of each device 3 to the corresponding device 10. This decreases greatly the number of expensive junction lines.

The circuit 13 extracts sequentially the information r' in the waiting tenant memory, compares the information representing the degree of congestion, stores the information r' having the highest priority to a buffer 15 and the circuit 8 registers it to an idle tenant memory.
