    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent tampering and theft of a safe for depositing money in which a bag with cash therein is inserted to store the bag, even if an examination process is outsourced.
      SOLUTION: A bag insertion part (6) for inserting a cash bag (92), a cassette storage part (7) for storing a recyclable cassette (50), and a control part (9) are provided. Recycling is done only through the operation of attaching and removing the cassette to prevent the risk of the cash bag being left unrecycled. Because information (number, etc.) on the cash bag stored is stored in the cassette, the cash bag can be checked. Further, because only acceptable bags are selected and accepted when inserted, insertion errors are prevented to eliminate the inconvenience of aftertreatment.

The control section sets the accepting section in a returnable state by setting the locking mechanism in an unlocked state by supplying electric power to the mechanism section by driving the backup power source when a power failure is detected and the transaction medium accepted in the accepting section is discriminated as a medium to be returned.

SOLUTION: When coins are thrown in a throw in hole 120, a coin sensor detect them, closes a shutter, makes a motor 126 rotate, and makes gates 123 rotate until they become vertical to let the coins fall downward. After that, the sensor 9 check the existence of a remaining matter, and when they confirm a remaining matter, it openes the shutter of the throw-in part and ask a customer to remove the remaining matter. The sending-out part 130 sends out coins and a sensor 138 checks the existence of coins. When it detects a remaining matter, sending-out is repeated until coins are gone. When remaining detection is gone, a tanking-in shutter is opened, a sucking means 142 is driven and small foreign matters are taken into a taking-in part 143. By a series of these operations, a foreign matter that is bigger than a coin and small foreign matters can be removed.

And, each detection signal out of these HP and check sensors 1b and 2b is inputted into a driving control part 16, discriminating a position of the carrier 4a, and simultaneously a stepping motor M is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise, thereby performing the compensation of a stop position, with this constitution, the number fo sensors is reduced and, what is more, stop position accuracy is improvable.

And then, when a medium is accumulated within the cassette 12, a full detection lever part 11b is caused by means of the slit 12b of the cassette 12 to touch the medium. When the medium is accumulated still further, a full detection lever part 11b is pressed by the medium, and the cassette detecting lever 11 makes a swinging movement counterclockwise against the force of the spring 13, and then, the sensor 14 detects that the cassette 12 is in its full state.
