    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of sensors as well as to make carrier position discrimination and stop position slippage compensation possible to be done by detecting the passing fo each mounting part, discriminating the mounting part position, and detecting a fact that a carrier driving device is rotated as much as the specified times, then making it so as to be stopped. CONSTITUTION:A fact that a mounting part 31b exists in the preset reference position is detected by an HP(reference position) sensor 1b and the detecting plate 1p attached to the mounting part 31b. On the other hand, when a carrier 4a is moved as far as the specified distance in the specified direction by a belt pulley 5b, a pulley 6b is constituted so as be rotated a turn, while the one rotation is detected by a check sensor 2b. And, each detection signal out of these HP and check sensors 1b and 2b is inputted into a driving control part 16, discriminating a position of the carrier 4a, and simultaneously a stepping motor M is rotated clockwise or counterclockwise, thereby performing the compensation of a stop position, with this constitution, the number fo sensors is reduced and, what is more, stop position accuracy is improvable.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate reduction of the cost by allowing a cassette detecting mechanism to be framed in such a manner that both the set detection and the full detection of a cassette can be performed by a single sensor. CONSTITUTION:When a cassette 12 is in its unset state, a cassette detecting lever 11 is located as shown in the figure by the action of a spring 13. Subsequently, when the cassette is set, the set detection lever part 11a of the cassette detecting lever 11 is pressed against the wall surface 12a of the cassette 12, and then, the cassette detecting lever 11 makes a swinging movement counterclockwise against the force of the spring 13 to reach a position as shown by the two-dot chain line in the figure, where a sensor 14 detects that the cassette 12 is in its set state. And then, when a medium is accumulated within the cassette 12, a full detection lever part 11b is caused by means of the slit 12b of the cassette 12 to touch the medium. When the medium is accumulated still further, a full detection lever part 11b is pressed by the medium, and the cassette detecting lever 11 makes a swinging movement counterclockwise against the force of the spring 13, and then, the sensor 14 detects that the cassette 12 is in its full state.

    • PURPOSE:To correspond to form in broad width without increasing the number of parts by controlling carrying operation by strip form and moving operation by a printing head by a control section and automatically setting strip form while shifting a mask along the obliquely cut front end of strip form. CONSTITUTION:A printing head 43 movable in the direction vertical to the direction of paper-feed and a mask 41 are arranged at the rear of a front end sensor 39, and the position of a left end in the direction of movement of the printing head 43 is detected by a head sensor L45 and the position of a right end by a head sensor R. The results of detection of these two head sensors are transmitted over a control section 29. The front end of rolled paper 11 is obliquely cut previously so as to form an angle alpha in the direction of movement of the printing head 43, and the printing head 43 is shifted while carrying rolled paper 11, thus moving the mask 41 mounted to the printing head 43 along the obliquely cut front end. The printing head 43 is shifted by driving a motor 27 for the head.

    • PURPOSE:To enable the number of receipts to be issued to be increased without enlarging an outer diameter of machine glazed paper by a method wherein a character pattern corresponding to respective character data of printing lines edited by an editing means is rotated in the same direction as that of a printing data stored in a memory means, and is printed on a medium. CONSTITUTION:When receipt printing is commanded, one dealing content of printing data is stored in a receipt printing data memory 11a. A side printing line editing part 12a reads one dealing content of the printing data stored in the memory 11a out from a right end character data, and edits a printing line by reading a row of a character data of the same place of each line out. The edited character data is sent by each one character to a CG 15, is converted to a character pattern, and is rotated 90 deg. left ward with a pattern rotary part 16. When one line content of printing line is stored in a buffer 17, the character pattern is outputted, and is sent to a printing control part 20. Besides, machine glazed paper 1b is sent to a printing position with a line feed control part 18 based on printing information, and one line content of printing is successively performed.
