    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust and set an optimum circuit parameter of a data reception device side in consideration of a system environment temperature during operation. SOLUTION: The data transmission system has a data transmission device 2 and a data reception device 3 for receiving data from the data transmission device. In the data transmission system, the data transmission device is provided with a test pattern registering register 14 for registering retransmitted data at error detection as a test pattern; and a test pattern transmission section 15A for transmitting the test pattern under registration to the data reception device at the start of re-training processing. The data reception device has a collation pattern registering register 24 for registering the retransmitted data as a collation pattern; a pattern collating section 26 for reading a collation pattern corresponding to the test pattern upon receiving the test pattern from the collation pattern registering register and collating the test pattern with the collation pattern; and a circuit parameter adjustment setting section 27 for adjusting and setting the circuit parameters of the data reception device side on the basis of the collation result.
