    • PURPOSE:To adjust the mounting, light emitting and light receiving sensitivity of a reflection type position detector at the time of assembling an accessor by providing one end of the arm of the relative position adjusting jig with a position adjusting member in the specific position thereof. CONSTITUTION:The one end 8a of the arm 8 of the relative position adjusting jig 70 is provided with the position adjusting member 90. The member 90 is so disposed that the space (d) from the reflection type position detector 6 to the member 90 is made equal to the space (d) from the detector 6 to a reflector 1b disposed in the housing part 1a of the housing container 1 of the memory medium 2 when the jig 7 is clamped by the accessor 4. The jig 7 resembling the recording medium 2 is clamped by the clamping part 4a of the accessor 4 with which the assembly is completed, by which the light from the temporarily mounted detecting part 6 is cast to the reflector 9 of the member 90. The mounting, light emitting and the sensitivity of the light receiving part of the detector 6 are so adjusted that the reflected light from the reflector 9 is surely received by the detector 6.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a large-capacity memory in which its assembling work can be simplified by providing guide rails for guiding an inner housing on vibration insulation rubbers of an outer housing. CONSTITUTION:A large-capacity memory is divided into an outer housing 28 and an inner housing 20. Four vibration insulation rubbers 29 are provided on the bottom of the housing 28, and two guide rails 30 are provided thereon. When the memory is associated, a medium storage box 21, a medium processor 23, a medium conveyor 24, a medium charger/discharger 25, etc., are fist associated in the housing 20. The housing 20 associated with these mechanisms is pressed along the rails 30 of the housing 28 by using a lifter, etc., and clamped by mounting bolts when it is brought into contact with a stopper, and hence a mounting work is extremely facilitated.

    • PURPOSE:To fix a floppy disk medium onto a spindle without any eccentricity by providing a cone which press contacts a collet from above the medium loading surface of the spindle as well in order to press the collet against the spindle while pinching the floppy disk medium against. CONSTITUTION:The cone 3 presses against the collet 2 at the part A of the collect 2 and the part B of the cone above the medium loading surface. Consequently, when a guide shaft 7 is lowered, contact points which are separated by a spring 4 in the beginning contact each other by further lowering the guide shaft 7 after the medium 1 and collet 2 contact each other. When the shaft 7 is further lowered in this state, the collet 2 is pressed by the cone 3 and pressed to spread outward. Finally, the collet 2 contacts the internal wall of the spindle 8 and the shaft 7 is further lowered in this state to flex a medium pressure spring 5, thereby securing normal medium pressure.

    • PURPOSE:To realize unmanned continuous supply/discharge of many data recording medium and to increase the memory capacity in a simple manner by detachably providing a non-rotary medium housing unit at an area accessible by a transfer part. CONSTITUTION:A transfer part 30 for transferring the recording medium 22 is provided with a hand 31 which is movable in the up-and-down direction and rotatable in the horizontal direction, and moreover capable of holding the data recording medium 22. A medium housing unit 33 is detachably mounted at the rear face of this mass storage device. There are 178 (two columns X89 rows) shelves 34 formed in the medium housing unit 33. The data memory medium 22 can be stored in each shelf 34 when the hand 31 is rotated in the F, G directions. Accordingly, large-capacity data recording medium can be continuously supplied or discharged without attendance of an operator, and the storage capacity can be increased easily. Moreover, the mass storage device which is inexpensive occupies a small area.

As compared with a sensor using a mechanical bar, the reflection type sensor can detect a cut part accurately thereby improving detection accuracy. But both of the two reflection type sensors are not ready for detection or already ready for detection, a library control section 10 directs a swivel motor control part 14 and a theta control part 15 sequentially to control the driving of a motor 112 for horizontal rotation, a rising/lowering motor 111 and a motor 12 by a fixed value separately thereby accomplishing a correction of the surfaces A and B accurately.
