A glass fireproof door 31 constituting a doorway of the fire fighting site 11 and a living room 18 is disposed between the attached room 22 and the living room 18. The glass fireproof door 31 is composed of a fireproof sash and a sheet of fireproof glass formed of heat shielding fireproof glass which is supported by the sash. The staircase 21 and the attached room 22 are partitioned from the living room 18 by glass fireproof walls 13 and 14 formed of heat shielding fireproof glass. The staircase 21 and the attached room 22 are partitioned by a glass fireproof partition wall 19 formed of heat shielding fireproof glass.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireproof door suitable for use in a doorway of a fire-resisting compartment.
      SOLUTION: A door 18 comprises a rectangular plate-like core material part 30, a decorative boards 32, 32 covering front and rear faces of the core material part 30, and a foam material 34 provided on each of four end faces of the core material part 30. The core material part 30 is formed with a fireproof material like a calcium silicate board, gypsum board, or ALC panel. The decorative board 32 is formed with a decorative material like a steel, aluminum, stainless or wood material. The foam material 34 is formed with a material having a fireproof property and is provided to cover the four end faces, i.e., the upper, lower, right, and left faces, of the core material part 30. The foam material 34 comes into contact with the core material part 20 of a door frame 16 when heated under a fire, and closes a gap between the four end faces of the core material part 30 of the door 18 and the core material part 20 of the door frame 16.
