SOLUTION: The branch metal fitting guide cover 1 is formed in a T shape by a vertical part 19 and a horizontal part 21 which inclines downward toward right and left ends from the vertical part 19.       SOLUTION: This is the optical fiber splicing tool 11 which is used for connecting- and disconnecting-operations between optical fibers using an optical fiber connector 1. The tool is equipped with a holding base 16 for supporting the optical fiber connector 1 and a release mechanism 12 for attaching/detaching a wedge 13A to/from the elements 2 of the optical fiber connector 1, by moving the wedge forwards and backwards relative to the optical fiber connector 1 supported on the holding base 14, while the wedge 13A releases between the elements 2 against the elasticity of a spring by being inserted into the elements 2. The release mechanism 12 has a cam 24 arranged on the side opposite from the holding base 16 through the wedge 13A, and has a lever 25 projected upward from this cam 24. The cam 24 is freely rotatably supported on a rotary axis line along the center axis of the optical fiber connector 1 in a state supported on the holding base 16. With the lever 25 rotated, the wedge 13A is pressurized by the cam 24 integrally rotating with the lever 25 and is pushed into the element of the optical fiber connector 1.

      SOLUTION: This cable hanger is made up of a pair of cable holders 5 with which the optical fiber cable 3 or the like is supported, a pair of suspension wire supporters 9 which are hooked on the suspension wire 7, and stoppers 11 which prevent the optical fiber cable 3 or the like supported by the cable holders 5 from straying outward from an insertion opening 13. The suspension wire supporters 9 are of a shape that is opened outside at a prescribed angle θ from a position where support front sides 9a overlaps supporter back sides 9b along the direction of vertical axial line (a) so that strong torsion spring pressure can be obtained at the suspension wire supporters 9 when mounting is finished.
