    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording medium which is superior in water resistance, and in which blotting and bronzing are suppressed under a high-humidity environment and discoloration immediately after printing is suppressed.
      SOLUTION: The inkjet recording medium is characterized in that the medium has at least two layers of ink receiving layers mainly comprising fine particle silica on a substrate, a water-soluble zirconium compound is incorporated in the ink receiving layer separated from the substrate, the water-soluble aluminum compound is much more distributed on the side close to the substrate in the thickness direction of the whole layers of at least two layers of the ink receiving layers, and at least one layer of an intermediate layer incorporating a water-absorbing polymer exists between the substrate and at least two layers of the ink receiving layers.
