CONSTITUTION:A curl straightening means 50 consists of an upper straightening part 55 and a lower straightening part 55a, and bends 56, 56a, curving guide plates 51, 52 of a paper conveying passage, are set up in reverse with each other. Simultaneously, a feeding means consisting of a drive roller 58 (58a) and a pinch roller 57 (57a) in installed there in response to these bends 56, 56a. Accordingly, at time of duplex copying, the paper, whose one side is copied and fixed at a fixing part 16, is pressurized by a pressure roller 16b and thereby curled and being conveyed as it is, but at time of backside copying, it is fed to a branch route 30. Then, it is curved in a direction of increasing the curl at the upper straightening part 55, then it is curved in the reverse direction at the lower straightening part 55a so that the curl is completely eliminated, thus copying to the backside takes place. Therefore the copying to the backside can be done perfectly so well.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably deliver paper sheet by sheet regardless of the tip state of the paper. SOLUTION: Paper 126 stored in a manual insertion tray body 102 is delivered sheet by sheet passing a pectinated part and between a collar 122 and a retarding device. The retarding device is so constituted that the pectinated part forming the tip part of a return guide is extended onto a return pad 132 and that the tip of the paper 126 obliquely enters this part and then comes in contact with the return part 132. Since frictional resistance is low at the pectinated part, the attitude of the paper 126 is unforcibly corrected at this part, and then a semicircular roller 123 stably delivers the paper 126 against the return pad 132. When two sheets of paper are delivered, the lower side paper is hindered from being fed by the return pad 132 so as to prevent double feed.
