The paper feeding direction paper guide 15 is securely fixed to a desired position by a grip 131 using a spring to prevent the occurrence of error for a shock. A stepwise shape of the cam channel 22 serves also for preventing the occurrence of an error in the direction 12 of paper feeding.

    • PURPOSE:To uncurl a one-side copied piece of paper as well as to make its copying to the backside so better by setting up two curl straightening means after making them correspond to two directions of both sides of the paper. Accordingly, at time of duplex copying, the paper, whose one side is copied and fixed at a fixing part 16, is pressurized by a pressure roller 16b and thereby curled and being conveyed as it is, but at time of backside copying, it is fed to a branch route 30. Then, it is curved in a direction of increasing the curl at the upper straightening part 55, then it is curved in the reverse direction at the lower straightening part 55a so that the curl is completely eliminated, thus copying to the backside takes place. Therefore the copying to the backside can be done perfectly so well.
