    • PURPOSE:To obtain a piezoelectric motor which has a simple structure and inexpensive and small size by providing two cylindrical piezoelectric units so that one is a laminated type and the other is secured to a case. CONSTITUTION:Two cylindrical piezoelectric units 3 which operates to grip or separate a rotational shaft 2 are movably engaged around the shaft 2. A laminated piezoelectric unit 7 which extends and contracts in the thicknesswise direction is secured at one end to a case 1, and the free end is coupled through a coupling member 8 with the first cylindrical piezoelectric unit 3. Further, the outer periphery of the second cylindrical piezoelectric unit 4 is secured directly to the case 1. In order to rotate the shaft 2 by the piezoelectric motor, two units 3, 4 are alternately extended and contracted, and the operations are synchronized to extend and contract the unit 7, thereby preventing free rotation to obtain a rotary force in the prescribed direction.

    • PURPOSE:To realize the supply of electric power from a fixed side to a rotary side without contacting, by driving an active circuit with the photoelectric conversion output of a solar battery mounted on a rotary cylinder. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed number of solar batteries 9 connected in series or parallel to each other are mounted on an upper end surface of a rotary cylinder 1 in order to obtain the voltage and current capacity which are needed to drive an active circuit 11 consisting of an amplifier which processes or controls picture signals, a relay, etc. At the same time, a light source 10 is provided at a fixed part opposite to the photodetecting surface of the battery 9. Electricity is conducted to the light source 10 to irradiate the light to the battery 9. Then the battery 9 converts the optical energy into the electric energy to produce the electromotive force. This force drives the circuit 11. In such a constitution, the miniaturization and high performance are attained for a rotary magnetic head device with no generation of noises. In addition, the dew condensation due to high humidity is avoided by the heating of the cylinder 1.
