摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive optical fiber line switching device which is provided with a self-holding function for holding an optical fiber line in a state obtained after switching, and whose structure is simple and miniaturized. CONSTITUTION:In this optical fiber line switching device 1, a single fiber 6 is switched and connected to an optional optical fiber 7 out of many optical fibers. The device 1 is provided with a butting member 2 where plural holding grooves 2a holding one-end sides of many optical fibers are formed and by which one end of the single fiber 6 is opposingly connected to any optical fiber 7 in the holding groove, and, a guide member 4 holding the single fiber 6, driven by an eccentric feed screw 3, moving the single fiber 6 in the arraying direction of many holding grooves by a specified length, and moving it in a direction orthogonaly crossing the arraying direction of many holding grooves.

SOLUTION: Bearings 21a, 21b are arranged on a first connector holder 16 holding a first optical connector 1 in a device case 13. The frost optical connector 1 is separated from the second optical connector 7, and the second connector holder 34 is vertically moved, and the switch connective position of the second optical connector 7 is decided by a positioning stopper 50 and engagement between a switch pawl 54 and a recessed part 57, and the first optical connector 1 is advances and abutted on the second optical connector 7, and the optical connectors are connected and switched.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a filter moving type optical switch where the deviation of an optical axis is not caused, which is miniaturized as a whole, which is not influenced by service interruption and which is durable to vibration and impact. SOLUTION: When one flange 57a of an electromagnet 51 is attracted to a permanent magnet 67a, an optical filter 35 is projected from a space between the end faces of an optical fiber 31. When one flange 57a is made to be an N pole by letting a current flow in the electromagnet 51 in one direction, the electromagnet 51 is rotated and the optical filter 35 in made to enter the space between the end faces of the optical fiber 31b. When the current is made to flow in the reverse direction in the electromagnet 51, the electromagnet 51 is rotated in the reverse direction and the optical filter 35 is made to come out of the space between the end faces of the optical 31b. Such operation is repeated to perform switching.

Further, this device is equiped with a driving mechanism 20 which holds a switching point 10 opposite arranged substrate 11, multi-unit connector 12 arranged in plural arrays in the array direction of the fiber and at least one single-unit fiber 8 and moves them in the array direction of the opposite arranged substrates 11 and multi-unlti connector 12, and makes an abutting connection with the desired optical fiber 8 of the multi-unit connector 12 by inserting the 8 into the specific hole among plural fiber holes.

摘要： PURPOSE: To eliminate the need for optical path switching and to obviate the occurrence of misalignment of optical axes by putting an optical filter in and out between the end faces of optical fibers installed by aligning their optical axes. CONSTITUTION: One stopper 59a is installed in a position where the optical filter 35 emerges from the space between the end faces of the optical fibers 31 as shown in Fig. (A) when the one end of a bar 53 is pressed thereto. Another stopper 59b is installed in a position where the optical filter 35 intrudes between the end faces of the optical fibers 31 as shown in Fig. (B) when the other end of the bar 53 is pressed thereto. This switch is of a system to hold the optical fibers 31 fixed and to move the optical filter 35 by magnetic force in such a manner and, therefore, there is no possibility that the misalignment of the optical axes of the optical fibers 31 arises. In addition, the optical connecting points are decreased and, therefore, the connection with lower loss and the miniaturization are made possible.

摘要： PURPOSE: To fix an optical fiber, to prevent deviation in an optical axis from being generated, to miniaturize whole switch, to be self-held by a first and second permanent magnets in a state where an optical filter is bulged out between the end surfaces of the optical fibers and in the state where it is inside between the end surfaces and to eliminate an effect of a power failure. CONSTITUTION: Switching is performed by taking in/out the optical filter 27 between the end surfaces of the optical fibers 25a, 25b. When a current flows through a coil 31, and a movable body 29 is magnetized to the same polarity as the first permanent magnet 37 in the state where the optical filter 27 is outside between the end surfaces of the optical fibers 25a, 25b, the movable body 29 is moved to the second permanent magnet 39, and the optical filter 27 enters between the end surfaces of the optical fibers 25a, 25b. In such a state, when the current in the opposite direction flows through the coil 31, and the movable body 29 is magnetized to the same polarity as the second permanent magnet 39, the movable body 29 is moved to the first permanent magnet 37.
