    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of an analogue TV broadcast receiving system to which a multi-directional antenna is connected, in which improper receiving direction is registered based on judgement from user's actual viewing.
      SOLUTION: When channel registering is started, a channel counter is set (S1), and a receiving direction counter is set to be an initial value (S3). Then, the receiving direction of antenna which is based on the receiving direction counter is set to be effective (S4). If the reception level at that time is higher than a prescribed threshold value (S6), a channel map is registered with the receiving direction (S7). If it is not higher than the prescribed threshold value (S6), the receiving direction counter is added with "1" (S8). If the receiving direction counter has not reached the maximum value (S9), registering to the channel map is repeated after going back to the step S4 again. By repeating the procedure, the receiving directions of which the reception level for a channel is higher than the threshold value are all registered in the channel map.
