    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna system capable of exactly determining the optimal receiving direction of an antenna whose directivity is switchable.
      SOLUTION: The antenna system 1 is equipped with an antenna 13 whose directivity is switchable in receiving a TV broadcast signal of an analogue system; a PDUR measurement unit 33 which measures a PDUR being an evaluated value of a ghost image by analyzing the TV broadcast signal received by the antenna 13 when the directivity of the antenna 13 has been switched by a switching unit 122; a storage unit 39 which stores, for each channel, the PDUR that has been measured by the PDUR measurement unit 33 and is in each direction of the directivity; and a CPU 401 which controls the switching unit 122 when a channel desired by a user has been specified and executes a directivity switching program 403b for switching the directivity of the antenna 13 to the direction of the highest PDUR value among directions of the directivity which is stored in the storage unit 39 and corresponds to the channel desired by the user.
